I was at Croydon Theatre College 1966/67. Don't know who took these pix of me photographing a piece of set-design (might've been Amy?) but that croquet hoop shows how dead posh we was back then.

Set Design for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards / Oscars.
Light and movement, the most basic components of moviemaking, will be integrated into this year’s sets to create an immersive, transformative environment. One of the most dazzling elements is the Swarovski Crystal Curtain.
The overall design is intended to evoke a classic but modern glamour, with white, platinum, topaz and smoky bronze hues.
The set also features three circular, revolving platforms that work in combination with rotating LED panels and architectural metalwork screens for film projection.
