These second-tier, three-piece, chromed steel flip-flop hubs were produced by the same company that in the 1920's produced sponge rubber saddle tops and later became famous for their distinctive and well designed cantilever brakes.
Came across this chess set, sadly the white king had been decapitated and poorly repaired. Ambient light, used the drapes in the hotel room as backdrop along with a very narrow DOF.
These cupcakes are for my son to take to Kindy for his birthday.
Two dozen vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing decorated with handmade fondant farm animals, flowers and lady bugs.

Park and Gardens - During your visit to Leeds Castle, enjoy the fresh air and stroll through the beautiful grounds of the park estate.
The Cascade Garden - The garden that gives you your first view of Leeds Castle, with its beautiful water cascade falling from the Cedar Pond.
The Wood Garden - In spring, the Wood Garden alongside the River Len is a particularly lovely way to approach the castle. Its carpet of Daffodils, Narcissi and Anemones presents a vibrant burst of colour. Later in the year, the visitor is treated to the splendor of Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
The Culpeper Garden - Named after the family who owned Leeds Castle in the 17th century; the Culpeper Garden was originally the site of the castle’s kitchen garden. During Lady Baillie's ownership it became a cut flower garden, but in 1980 garden designer Russell Page transformed it into a large cottage garden. With its informal layout and low box hedges as a border this very English garden features Roses, Lupins, Poppies and Lads' Love, with exotic blooms mixed in to create a profusion of colour and scent.
The Lady Baillie Garden - Designed by the landscape architect, Christopher Carter, on the site of Lady Baillie's original aviary the garden is a favourite destination for visitors to the castle. With its south facing aspect and Mediterranean style, visitors can relax and enjoy superb views across the Great Water.

The Rawin Set AN/GMD-1B was a transportable radio direction finder designed to track a balloon or rocket-borne radiosonde transmitter automatically. The FM or AM "radiosonde" signal would be received, detected, and amplified by the unit and then translated into temperature, pressure, and humidity values for meteorological observations. It could also track wind speed and direction at various altitudes as the radiosonde descended to Earth. This unit was used to receive data from Loki (named after the Norse god) and Arcas ("Al- Purpose Rocket for Collecting Atmospheric Soundings) sounding rockets. These rockets were developed in the 1950s and examples of both are on display in the museum.
Fun Fact The term "sounding rocket” comes from the nautical term "to sound," which means to take measurements. Sounding rockets and receiving devices helped scientists and meteorologists study conditions in Earth’s multiple atmospheric regions.

Tel Aviv's old port, renewed to a trendy hangout with coffee shops, clubs restaurants and upscale shopping coming to life as the sun sets on a quite Friday. It is here back in 91 where we would set out in small boats for early morning dives. Now a fave hangout on every visit.
My sister-in-law Mary bought this set for me in Mexico. Apparently she haggled with a shop-keeper over three days before she got him down to the price she wanted.

My first meal in Kyoto was at a restaurant called Kitano Grill at the Aeon Mall near Kyoto station. Super super delicious chicken karaage, croquette and hamburger steak!
This used to be part of an old CBeebies set, but seems to have been joined by the old Match of the Day sofa and table, and a big set of teeth.
