MISSING ITEMS: Dress, bloomers, shoes, socks, hat, sailboat, book, 4 markers
PERSONAL FUN FACT: It's probably hard to tell from this photo, but this is in fact Bitty Bear's hat. I found it, along with a few other Bitty Baby scraps, in a bin of Barbie stuff I got at a flea market in 2012. I haven't used it on display yet for one of my bears, since I don't have any appropriate outfits to use this with. I would absolutely love to find the rest of this set. I have such fond memories of seeing it in the American Girl catalogue when I was younger. I hope one day I can find Bitty's outfit...Bitty Bear's hat would be the harder thing to find in the wild, due to its tiny size.

The spring in the spring-loaded bearing will never bind or interfere with the blade. Both our KB-1 (Spring- Loaded Bearing) and our KM-1T (Threaded End Bearing) will perforate the metal with ease every time. Our special handle can also be used on both ends simply by flipping it from one end to the other. Both ends are available with steel back-up washers and gaskets to resist leakage.

Descriptions from North Star Orchards...
Sugar Snap Apples (red/green striped) - Ah, the taste of fall! Not-too-sweet, not-too-tart, Sugar Snap has the quintessential apple-y flavor and a great crunch!
Florina Apples (yellowish with pink blush). We nicknamed these 'The Bubblegum Apple', not because you can blow bubbles with them, but because they are very sweet and have a lovely pink color, which reminds of of Bazooka. While sweet, these have a nice balanced flavor and a lovely crisp texture. Kids love the name too!
Olympic Asian Pears - These are wildly different from the Hosui you have been getting lately. Olympic are super-crisp, more in line with the crunch of an apple. The flavor, while sweet, is more of a crisply clean sugar-cube sweet. Personally, I love these Asian pears the best, because of both the crunch and the flavor. See what you think! Please, don't be intimidated by their size. Asian pears don't turn brown when you cut them, so just use 1/2 (or 1/3 or 1/4!) of an Olympic and stick the rest back in the fridge. It'll be in just dandy condition when you want your next serving! These are great to serve with meals or salads, and are firm enough to stand up to cooking like pies.
Magness Pears - A sweet and juicy 'European' pear. These will need time to get a bit soft though, so let them sit on your counter for a few days until you can dent them with a finger. This can take 3 to 4 days, so you've got plenty of time to eat your other fruits first.
As a photographer you have the option to create a range of emotions in every photograph you take. What emotion do you strive to create?
This one feels like hope to me, but may feel like something completely different to you. So what do you feel?
Thanks for dropping by and have a good day!

PERSONAL FUN FACT: This is probably my favorite Valentine's Day themed outfit ever made for Bitty Baby. Okay, I'm biased because my mom surprised me with this set when I was younger. I think the shoes are the cutest part about this ensemble. I love the little heart shaped cut outs!!! You can see that this set came with multiple envelopes and heart shaped stickers. I guess that they were intended to be used as Valentine's cards for other people. Obviously, I never used mine. I like to keep them tucked safely away inside the mail box along with the stickers. I'm sure that the stickers probably wouldn't work anymore due to their age anyways. The mailbox is definitely one of the cutest, most unique accessories I have ever seen for Bitty Baby. I like that the door opens and the flag can be positioned which ever way you want! The sweater and dress are impeccable quality. The embroidered details are my favorites, as always. These socks were heavily played with since I only had one other pair. I love the choice of a beret for Bitty to wear with this....usually she gets headbands. Bitty Bear was given a whole outfit for this set. The apron dress is easy to put on. Of course as a kid I was conflicted about the dress, because I considered Bitty Bear to be a boy...I felt kind of bad dressing him in this. I have an extra sweater that I acquired at the flea market some years ago. I always make a point of hoarding extra American Girl pieces if they are cheap enough.
Sive, written by Listowel man John B Keane was staged in St John's Theatre this week
Sive is a play by Irish playwright John B. Keane that depicts Irish rural life in the 1950s. The main character of the play is Sive, yet she rarely speaks in the play. This ultimately enhances the impact of the whole play on the audience. We get a clear sense of how she is being used. Her voice is literally drained out by the power hungry nature of the society in which she lives.
The drama is a clear tragedy - a tragedy that never had any real sense of escapism whilst amid selfishness and greed. Money dominates almost every line of the play, which brings to light the play's moral - that innocent people suffer in vast ways in a society that is so self consumed and dominated by powerful authoritarian people.
