The late John Bell, turns from princes st,ardrossan into glasgow street,look at the width of the road. the EARL of Eglinton who laid out the town plan said these two roads should be 4 carraiges wide. then along comes north ayrshire council and puts flower beds along the centre and the recent stagecoach driving school has taught them to pick up nose in ,tail out and the town shuts down

Sive, written by Listowel man John B Keane was staged in St John's Theatre this week
Sive is a play by Irish playwright John B. Keane that depicts Irish rural life in the 1950s. The main character of the play is Sive, yet she rarely speaks in the play. This ultimately enhances the impact of the whole play on the audience. We get a clear sense of how she is being used. Her voice is literally drained out by the power hungry nature of the society in which she lives.
The drama is a clear tragedy - a tragedy that never had any real sense of escapism whilst amid selfishness and greed. Money dominates almost every line of the play, which brings to light the play's moral - that innocent people suffer in vast ways in a society that is so self consumed and dominated by powerful authoritarian people.

Came across this chess set, sadly the white king had been decapitated and poorly repaired. Ambient light, used the drapes in the hotel room as backdrop along with a very narrow DOF.

This commemorative set was released in 2011 to mark the wedding of Prince William & Catherine Middleton in the UK. I think Rev Kevin Water goes down as one of favourite figures of all time :) !

The Drum set is painted to look a little distressed as to denote the aged character of the piece, as if it's been handed down from generations, keeping music alive in the family. The Drums are mainly white and red, but with a nice silver trim, and brass for the cymbals.
