Hywel Roberts of The Sequins opening for Zun Zun Egui and Souvaris at Taylor John's House in Coventry.
The 'built-in' sequins in Ravenna's Tivoli yarn make it fun and easy to sparkle plenty! Christine knit this small navy neckerchief for Sally and they've been getting compliments ever since!
Check it out!!! All those sequins. Never again. Used the negative from the Simon Says 'Hello' die. placed over the card base and drew a faint outline in pencil. removed. added glue then sequins. Tried to get a flow happening but between the sequins that stuck all over my fingers, arms tools I tried using it was an exercise in not loosing my temper.
I'm actually amazed I finished it. Anyhoo got all the sequins stuck down, added the negative from the Hello die and had add a couple of extra sequins where there were gaps.
I had cut the top to be smaller and angled and of course I had to trim a mark here and a little there and the next thing it looked wrong size and of course I had mounted so much foam tape you couldn't move it with a jack hammer. It should've had a coloured layer in the middle so I ended up cutting a strip of paper with a 90 degree angle and slotted it in place.
Added a wooden flower and 'bob's your uncle' it all fell into place. I was happy in the end and will never ever do another. :)
