You know those times when you pick the wrong spot for a sunset/sunrise...? well it's like that. I was stuck at Sequim anyways so not much scope there... sort of gathered that my best chance would be to shoot by the dock and try to add some subjects to the scene. There were hardly any colors to capture. The bay is covered in all directions mostly, so it was no wonder I was the only guy with a camera in that place. Tried a few text book shots, and then resorted to doing long exposures, which turned out to be a bit more interesting. I had my VAR-ND filter, so it was easy to play around.

We stopped in Sequim -- pronounced Squim -- and there was this pretty little waterfall next to the stairs. I thought it was charming and took six photographs of it before I had to pee. Aren't you glad I'm only showing you one?

Visited my friend J in Sequim before heading to Ft. Worden. After lunch we went to the beach. What a gorgeous part of our state!

Camping at Sequim Bay State Park means going to the beach at low tide and shucking oysters straight out of the mud. Incredible.
