I have been trying to capture this photo for a while, with cows in front of the old barn and grain elevator. This was a particularly clear day, so I was able to get the Cascade mountain range in the distant background. I don't have as much clarity in the depth of field as I wanted, because I was trying to blur out some small branches right in front of the camera lens. I did a bit of HDR magic on the image to bring out some more details in the shadows. HSS

Thunderheads marched west out the Strait to the Pacific this afternoon.

In November in Sequim in Washington, it's a victory when clouds aren't blocking the view of the mountains.
