We stopped at this vineyard to have a look before we entered Olympic National Park.

Brilliant red sunrise

Sequim on November 21,2021

Here on the lee slope of the hill there is a common walking path that loops up and around and back down again. It crosses several people’s land, including ours. The handful of us who live here walk it regularly. Some stretches go through the forest - here is the entrance to under the trees just north of our house. No stooping to get through - that hole is plenty big. Gives a good idea of how tall the trees are (and how dark the forest).

Taken in Sequim, Washington a couple weekends ago while visiting Ginny and Robert, the parents of my dear late friend Sybil Glory.

Flowers in the greenhouse at GreenHouse Inn by the Bay. I was wishing I had my macro lens with me.
