Wet magnetic separator application
Wet Magnetic Separator is designated for wet magnetic separating of material with granularity below 3mm, such as magnetite, pyrrhotine, roasted ore and washingtonite. It can also be used for deironing of coal, nonmetal materials, building materials, etc.
The magnetic system of magnetic separator is made of compound materials composed of high grade ferrite materials and rare earth alnico. The average magnetic induction of the drum surface is 100-600mt. Different type of magnetic separation as forward flow, semi-counter flow and counter flow can be provided according to customers demands.

Wet Magnetic Separator is one kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, ilmenite, and tantalum-niobium, etc. In recent years, it is also more and more applied in purifying quartz, feldspar and nephline. Its magnetic system is a ring-shape chain closed magnetic circuit with energizing coils made of copper tube and cooled internally by water. Grooved plates made of magnetic conductive stainless steel are used as magnetic matrix. It possesses the following advantages: short magnetic circuit, little magnetic flux leakage, high magnetic intensity, low energy consumption, fine beneficiating results, simple structure and easy to maintain. They have been found widely used in more than 20 mineral processing plants.

Working Principle: The ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.

Floatation machine is applicable for the separation of nonferrous metal and ferrous metals, such as fluorite, talc, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum.
Working principal:
The impellers are driven through V belt transmission, which brings centrifugal effect to form the negative pressure. On the one hand, the flotation machine inhales sufficient air to mix with ore slurry; on the other hand it stirs ore slurry and mix with medication to form the mineralized froth. To adjust the height of flashboard to control the liquid level and make the useful froth scraped by loam board. Each chute can inhale gas, sink magma, separate. No assisting equipments are required, and it must be levelly installed. It is easy to change the flow chart. The cycling way of magma is very reasonable. It can reduce the impurities to a great extent. There is automatic equipment on the magma surface, easy to adjust. The impeller also owns the upper and lower retroversion blade. The upper one makes the magma cycle upward, while the lower one makes the magma cycle downward.

I came across this old seed separator / cleaner in a decrepit, crumbling old silo in the outskirts of Lucedale, Mississippi. In the last 15 years, I have worked almost entirely in the manufacturing sector, and have worked very closely with all sorts of machines. I have grown to love them. I love watching how we as humans have devised clever ways to make our lives easier. I love seeing how things are manufactured.
This grandfather of a machine was made by the A. T. Ferrell Company in Saginaw, Michigan. I can't begin to tell you how old it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is over 50 years old.
Although the metal components are all rusted, some to the point that they are crumbling, the oak frame is in great shape. The woodworker in me would love to have some of those boards to restore and use in my projects.
This man-made hill was the separator on an otherwise extremely flat course, set right next to Lake Erie. It created some really interesting one-on-one challenges (2 runners start together at the bottom, but one pulls away on the hill)...
For the photographer, it also creates some fantastic photo opportunities. Between the angle of the hill (it's steep) and the ability to get "air shots" (e.g. no background but the air), this is a great event to shoot.
She is a strong runner and she powered her way up, working hard!

This is a brand new manual centrifugal cream separator machine to extract cream from milk.
The design of those cream separators dates from the 1900's but apparently they still manufacture those machines and sell them in Turkey.
