A snapshot from a Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) simulation of a A3B7 block copolymer melt undergoing microphase separation.
A3B7 means that the polymer consist of two parts (A and B) that have different solubilities. The total length of the polymer is 10, part A consisting of 3 monomers and part B of 7.

Taken by letting a sandwich bag with a hole in it drip freely into a paint bucket. The color effect (The reason these droplets are unique from my previous ones) are a result of printing a picture I made in Photoshop (Filter-Render-Clouds) and taping it to the back of the chair, perpendicular to the paint bucket. Enjoy!
