There are many different kinds of parking sensors to choose from. Some of the parking sensors are very basic and just give a beep when there is something behind the car. However, there are other parking sensors that come with cameras included so that not only do they give an audio alert, they also show the driver exactly what is behind them.
Those nasty little red scars on my thigh are from my sensors. I chose this pic today because a few days ago i inserted a new sensor - and was met with excruciating pain, even though it didn't bleed or anything. I toughed it out because i hate putting new sensors in. It seemed to work fine, but now that I've taken it out it feels like i've literally split my thigh muscle. maybe that huge sensor needle really did go that deep?!!
I'm frustrated today because I've had crappy numbers the last 3 days or so, even running my higher basal rate. I hate when this happens because i can never figure out if it's my basal or my bolus that needs to change. And since I'm impatient and OCD, I don't wait long enough to find out, cause I want to correct every bad number. :)
This is tough to see, but the wiring goes underneath the fuse box and through the same hole that the ABS sensor uses.
View in 100% for better comparision. I didn't get rid of all the spots but anyway quite an improvement...besides the fact that I almost died of an heart attack because I was so afraid to damage the sensor.
