Recently I had been reached out to by a member of Red Watch, Rewley Road, Station 21. He had reached out to me due to my interest in photographing the brand new fire appliances that had entered service within the last few months or so.

The main differences noted from the exterior are the light lenses are no longer blue and the rear chassis is on the newer version of them meaning the rear light clusters are in different format and design now compared to the previous circular ones.
The new appliances also have a newer model of two tone horns and are positioned differently, they are in fact much louder. The siren unit remains the same for these trucks fortunately. Additionally the trucks have a new safety feature built into them using camera technology for automatic braking sensors.

The facility consists of 7,000 square feet of Class-100 and Class-1000 cleanrooms, surrounded by 3,000 square feet of analytical and design labs for materials characterization. Nano3 instrumentation includes a state-of-the-art electron-beam lithography system with linewidths down to 8 nanometers, which enables major new research in nanomagnetics for data storage, nanophotonics for intra-chip communications, and molecular sensing for biomedical applications. Other advanced equipment includes a nanoimprinting system, a focused ion beam, an atomic-layer deposition system, a laser direct writer, a high resolution transmission electron microscope, atomic force microscopes, field-emission electron microscopes, and much more.
