This shows a ibutton style sensor in a circuit board mounting clip. Even though I don't put it in a circuit board, the clip makes it easier to connect the wires to it.
I had difficulty getting the camera to focus in the dark.

At the end of most photo shoots (when I remember) I take a picture of the blue sky at f/22 or f/32. In this case there was quite of bit of dust that had collected on the sensor - it's much more noticeable on larger sizes of this image. Time to clean it. :) I should note that these dust spots are not that noticeable because 1) I usually shoot at f/2.8 or so which makes them much less noticeable, and 2) I usually shoot images with complex backgrounds rather than a blue sky or other flat color.
Under your mirror on the bottom of your mirror box lives your Auto Focus sensor. The little indent the pickup lives in invites dust bunnies and other crud to invade and block your sensors view of the world..

Here is a closeup of one of the new BMS battery sensor modules. It was originally designed to bolt directly to the most negative battery terminal in the string of four that it monitors, but I don't like that design in an automotive environment subject to lots of vibration. I prefer to use Nordlock washers and to crank down the terminal screws to spec. I used a ring terminal to connect to one of the tapped bus bars or jumpers to measure the voltage. The four positive terminal leads are connected to smaller ring terminals and the taps on the bus bars or jumpers.
