A small SEND button on an old LG flip phone with full keyboard and a small screen. The area in the picture measures app. 0.625 in. X .625 in. taken on an angle, the button is app 0.2 inches tall.
The phone was placed so that the keyboard was backlit by the morning sunlight. It's all about the bokeh in this shot, view large for what I can only describe as a Meyer Optik bokeh experience!

La Hiruela es un enclave privilegiado de la Sierra del Rincón, en el límite noreste de la Comunidad de Madrid. Auténtica reserva de la naturaleza, posee un entorno natural envidiable. En el año 2005, la Sierra del Rincón entró a formar parte de la red mundial de Reservas de la Biosfera, al ser catalogada como tal y reconocida internacionalmente en el Programa sobre el Hombre y la Biosfera de la Unesco.
Sus casas de piedra, adobe y madera apenas han sufrido modificaciones en su estructura desde su construcción, manteniendo una identidad arquitectónica propia que lo sitúa como uno de los pueblos mejor conservados de la Comunidad de Madrid.
La Hiruela es un importante enclave turístico de la Comunidad de Madrid. Un municipio que cuida al turista, con enormes posibilidades de crecimiento dada su cercanía a Madrid, y que invita a recorrer, sin prisas y sin tráfico, su cuidado casco urbano y sus increíbles sendas.
La entrada al núcleo urbano está prohibida para los vehículos, por lo que tiene habilitado los suficientes aparcamientos para facilitar una visita lo más placentera posible.

I’m hesitant to send this picture into the world. I don’t think it’s very interesting or appealing to anyone, not even sure what it is to me, but I do care for it. It’s not about the circumstances in which it was taken. A sunday stroll like many others, in the dunes of Wassenaar. Almost too late in the afternoon, but we felt compelled to leave the house and our screens for at least a few hours before office life would take over again. So we took the car and drove to the beach. (Sometimes it’s the woods but frankly, this coastal area with its heath and dunes stretching along the entire country, feels like the only proper Dutch landscape, whereas the woods, well, they feel like a poor imitation of what the name suggests). In any case, rather ordinary circumstances, pleasant, but ordinary. It’s about the landscape itself, as unspectacular as it is. It’s an archetype of the landscape that I have known all my life. Not necessarily liked, but known. Trees and shrubs always a bit messy, brownish and barren on a sandy soil. A transitional area just inland, a landscape that has never properly made up its mind. Not very pretty really. But there is a path, of course, with a sign to indicate it’s a path. Because every bit of what we have, and it isn’t much, is made accessible. This particular blue sign has been around since forever, I remember it from my childhood, when I went for sunday walks with my dad. I always felt that its picture represented me and him. I like the different tones of green alongside the path, and how it meanders into the distance, mimicking the twisty branches of the trees.

La Senda del Oso es una vía verde en el centro de Asturias, que recorre los Valles del Oso, formados por los concejos de Proaza, Quirós, Teverga y Santo Adriano, que se puede recorres tanto a pie como en bicicleta. Se trata de una antigua vía ferroviaria por donde circulaba hasta el año 1964 un ferrocarril minero que transportaba el carbón desde las localidades de Santa Marina y Entrego, hasta Trubia, en el concejo de Oviedo.
Esta senda transita, en gran parte, por un espectacular bosque atlántico, convirtiéndose en una ruta sencilla, apta para todos los públicos, con un poco de desnivel, siendo un excelente plan para realizar en familia, en solitario o con amigos.
La Senda del Oso tiene aproximadamente unos 30 km de longitud, comienza en Tuñón, en el concejo de Santo Adriano, recorre todo el concejo de Proaza y finaliza en entrego (Teverga) y Santa Marina (Quirós), pudiendo disfrutar a lo largo del recorrido, de varios túneles horadados en la roca, del cercado osero, desfiladeros, etc.
Se debe de efectuar en varias etapas, para disfrutar totalmente de la senda, estas son:
TUÑÓN–PROAZA = 6 KM – PROAZA–CARANGA = 5 KM – CARANGA–ENTREGO = 10 KM Y CARANGA- SANTA MARINA = 13 KM

Every year for Christmas, our tour operator for South Africa trips sends these lovely handmade bead figurines to their customers. I already own an elephant, a rhino and a zebra. Yesterday this cute buffalo arrived.

Theme for 'Looking close... on Friday!': "FESTIVE LIGHTING"
LIFE WITH NEW BEGINNINGS......A single breath from a playing child can send dozens of fluffy dandelion seeds floating into the air. Now scientists find these seeds can keep themselves aloft by generating a type of vortex previously thought too unstable to exist, helping explain how these flowers have dispersed across the planet.
Each dandelion seed is attached to a bundle of roughly 100 feathery bristles known as a pappus, whose name derives from an ancient Greek word for grandfather due to its resemblance to a beard. This structure prolongs the descent of seeds by dragging on the air a bit like a parachute, ensuring that horizontal winds can help carry the seeds farther. Most dandelion seeds probably land within 2 meters of their parent flowers, but in warm, dry, windy conditions, some may fly more than a kilometer.
Dandelions are far from the only plants to use wind to help disperse their seeds. It was a puzzle as to why dandelions evolved plumes to help keep their seeds in the air, rather than winglike membranes, such as what maple seeds have.
To explore this question further, scientists at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland built a vertical wind tunnel to investigate the physics of dandelion seed flight. They blew air under dandelion seeds that were either freely flying or fixed in place, adding smoke into this wind and illuminating it with a green laser to help reveal the way air moved around the seeds.
Using long-exposure photography and high-speed imaging, the researchers discovered that a kind of stable air bubble known as a vortex ring remained a fixed distance from the seeds. Experiments with silicon disks of varying porosity that imitated the aerodynamics of a dandelion pappus suggested the circular geometry and airy nature of the pappus is tuned precisely to stabilize these vortex rings, helping them deliver four times more drag than a solid disk with the same area. As such, this plumed structure may prove ideal for the dispersal of the small, light seeds of short plants, whereas winglike membranes likely prove better for larger seeds, the researchers write.
Prior work had found that objects could form vortex wings in their wake, but these either stayed anchored to these items or flew downstream. This newfound type of vortex ring was previously thought too unstable to actually occur, and suggests examining nature could reveal other as yet unknown kinds of fluid behavior.
