The waterfall is the run off of the river Seljalandsá and drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful water falls in Iceland.

Looking for another angle I decided to jump down in the river. I have to say by the time I got this shot and quite a few others, I was starting to loose feeling in my feet.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls of Iceland. Situated in between Selfoss and Skógafoss at the road crossing of Route 1 (the Ring Road) with the track going into Þórsmörk.

 

This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline. It is possible to go behind the waterfall.

Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in Iceland. Seljalandsfoss is located in the South Region in Iceland right by Route 1 and the road that leads to Þórsmörk Road 249. The waterfall drops 60 m (197 ft) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave. (wiki)
