two left turns and then a right on the other street that has that one building with the windows on the corner. the one that's across the street from that place that sells that stuff -- you know, the stuff made with the things that you buy with money? freaking maps...
we stopped back at the diner on the way to drop my mom off at the train station. the people at the bar across the street yelled "the cops are comin' for you, biiiitch!" but when we turned they seemed to be completely oblivious to us and talking amongst themselves. and there were no cops in sight. so i have no idea what was going on. they also shouted nothing else. nonetheless, we peaced out of there quickly after.
b&w at night? that's a bit deboer, it seems! i liked the color version, but decided to try something different. i think it worked out okay!

This is a photo of me. Yesterday was the annual Zombie walk in Vancouver. The makeup was done by myself.
It was a real fun event and some great costumes too.
Key = camera right, slightly above subject: Flashpoint Zoom II speedlight in Altura 11”x8” softbox in horizontal orientation, feathered and about 1.5 ft. from subject
Rim = camera left, about the same level as subject’s head: Godox TT600 speedlight with MOVO 1/8” grid, about 5 ft from subject, about 2.5 stops below key
Background: Godox TT600 zoomed at 105 mm, with full CTB gel and snooted on 3 sides with a Honl 8" Speed Snoot, raking diagonally across a garage door
(Inspired by Greg Heisler’s portrait of Ed Harris)
Apparently I take a shower that's a little warm and I get the bathroom all steamy. I'm that pink blob over there. This effect was also used on Cybill Shepherd during most of the run in "Moonlighting".
I was trying to get a shot with my cat, but he got annoyed and buggered off because I disturbed his sleepy time. Then I felt like playing with scarves, so I did this :)
FUUUU BROKEN TRIPOD.
day sixty four
Time.
Thought we'd made friends with time.
Thought we'd be flying.
Maybe not this time.

Wow, another explore!! thanks!!!!
Ahahaha )
La foto lascia a desiderare...ma comunque...
I love read comics (manga). Now it's a passion I have for years, and althought now I don't follow it so closely (becouse of the excessive costs, for a short time, etc etc)...well,sometimes there's nothing better than reading a good comic :D
They have the power to make me excite and entertain and involve me...and let me regress to a worryinh childhood level (I'm serious!Ahaha) even today, and although I have read them many times.
I don't like the shot...however...
selfpotrait using tripod & remote. Taken at Singapore bienalle .... I got an Idea from miniseries "Taken" by Steven Spielberg that told stories about some peoples that claim they were taken by alien in their past ..
note :I like scifi movies but I don't believe that UFO sighting are real =)

So I was meaning to do this since christmas, but today I was bored and was like "....I SHOULD DO IT!".
So I grabbed my dad's tripod, my d60, the new fisheye that should have been here a month ago, and the signs, and headed to my sister's room.
I love these, to be honest.
I don't wear glasses on a normal basis. Their lenses are clear.;]
graininess - i'm sure no such word but whatever!
something which i would like to explore more - low lights photography
minolta srt 100 + lomo cn800
Only did color correction on this one. I looked and looked and had other people look. Nothing shows. Trust me. I did my best to hide it. Honestly I was shocked how the picture came out because I am not wearing makeup. I was only disappointed in the shadows under my eyes. The lighting made them look worse than they usually do.

I've been feeling very uninspired with my photography lately. All of the photos I see myself take are so blah, so ordinary. So I'm thinking about starting a Project 52 and seeing where I go with that. Thoughts?

I saw this little darling a few days ago when we were at the antique store next door. I mean, come on, mint green, little bench, in front of The Knitting Tree. Does it get any cuter? It's a wonder it doesn't get stolen, left by itself out on the sidewalk. Although, I suppose the type of person to steal things might not be interested in stealing a cute bench. I'm kind of super glad that it's memorial day, because the store is closed for the holiday, and I only felt like a crazy lady to the couple of peeps in the coffee shop across the street. Standing on public benches is scary!
day eighty four
wheels, wings, wheels, weary from traveling, new words, new city, no address, no language, step from the bus looking for yellow taxi signs and instead find unexpected embraces, familiar, silly, drunken, wonderful greetings and a feeling as if i've come home.
woo-hoo! this made explore, thanks guys! julie, what power do you have over explore? :)
[+1] Today I decided to begin the 52 weeks project, with the intent to take a picture every week for one year. It seems too difficult, I'm lazy!
Hoping this thing helps me to grow, to become good and develope the immagination, that at this time I really miss :\
I don't like very much this photograph, I don't know why but it's so.
Indeed a sad start.
