I created this mini-poster using a screen capture from a movie trailer and ComicLife software.

Rules:

Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 15 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you.

1. My best friend and I have matching tattoos on our ankles.

2. I love westerns, black and white movies and old tv sitcoms. Cool Hand Luke, Quick and the Dead, Gone With the Wind...All In the Family, Twilight Zone...love them. I own every season of AITF on DVD.

3. My self-confidence is almost non-existent. I'm hard on myself, and I don't know why.

4. My family is like no other. They are everything to me. We don't remain extremely close, but there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. My mom and my grandma are my very best friends though.

5. I have issues on the lack of grandfathers in my life. I'm mad that I never got to meet my Grandpa A. and I've battled it my entire life. I'm mad that my Grandpa E. was taken away from me so early, and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of them.

6. I hate birds. HATE HATE HATE. But I love chickens.

7. If I could quit work and farm the rest of my life and make it, I would. You know people say that if they hit the lottery, they would still work? You're out of your mind...

8. I absolutely HATE talking on the phone. HATE it. I would text all day long, but I won't talk.

9. I'm a MAJOR clutz. I'm really surprised I've never broken a bone.

10. I used to have a serious obsession with shampoo. I still do a little bit but not nearly as much. I used to buy a bottle of shampoo/conditioner at LEAST once a week.

11. I have a scar on my knee from a bicycle wreck in 3rd grade. I hope it always stays there. I also stepped on a nail in 3rd grade and ran it almost completely through my foot. Tough year.

12. I am into family history and have traced my roots back to the 900s and also royalty.

13. A lot of people try to short me because I was the baby. They don't realize the things I'm capable of. How I can cook, how I can clean, etc. and usually don't try because I don't get credit.

14. I'm not a girly-girl and I never have been. I am a jeans/hoodie/t-shirt kinda girl.

15. I am a little obsessive with handwriting. I always look at people's handwriting.

Not being kinky for a change. :D

As a result of my growing selfconfidence, I decided to go shopping and buy some new dresses.

Two of them proved to be good-looking and I will combine the two photoshootings in one album.

Enjoy everyone. :)

My Parents Made Me Fat

What do I mean when I way our parents made me fat? Well, I look at my own life. I had obese parents. I was obese, and my children were starting to become obese.

I had to realize 100% that the responsibility relied on me. Everything that I did, the food I put on the plate, the food I didn't put on the plate, the exercise we did, the exercise we didn't do, it was all 100% on me.

There comes a time in our life when we need to be responsible for what it is we're doing and understanding that everything that we do affects our kids, affects our children, affects our lives, affects everyone that they come in contact with. And so when we are responsible, then it no longer is my parents made me fat. It's I made me fat. When you can take ownership of the fact that it is your choices, your responsibility, not only can you embrace them, you can change them.

See, if someone else made you fat, there's nothing you can do, but if you made yourself fat, you can change that. If you chose to be fat, I know that may be rough, but if you chose to be fat, you can also choose to be fit and healthy.

Understanding that your value, your self-esteem, everything that comes from, is your responsibility. And when you're able to understand that, your parents no longer made you fat.
