While exploring 2/F, found a metal plate was nailed behind the door. I don't think they are using it as a mirror.
Day 115. 080828.
Anzac Day must be a day when we redouble our commitment to working for peace. The need for self-reflection is particularly pressing as New Zealand's deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan come up for review in June. We remember and mourn for all victims of war and to promote lasting peace in the world based on demilitarization, decolonization and justice, according to Valerie Morse who is a member of the Auckland Peace Action.
If you look at a larger version, you can see the reflection of me and my daughter in this turkey's eye.
In the midst of all my photo-taking, I had to take a few minutes to enjoy it myself (and of course snap a photo of myself doing).
My third photo collage. I created it for Amy Burvall's Google+ Community, LearningListeningLoving. The collage is an artefact that helps us make our reflection visible (accountable).
We were eating carrots together. He was an okay fascist. I noticed we were out of sugar for our tea so I hopped into the kitchen. It was a typical rainy day in the burrow, nothing special. The sound of the rain had become comforting as if there was sanity in the monotony. The steam of the tea lifted my spirit. I returned to my partner, "here you are, freshly sweetened tea."
"humph" he grunted throwing the tea to the floor. I went to pick up the tea as usual when something overcame me. I cried "there is nothing but negativity that oozes from your being its like you're here to destroy my life. I know we have to live together but do something productive for once!"
He took one long look at me and mumbled "OK," and with that he hopped into his cage and shut the door behind him. Ever since, the sun has been shining. I've been exploring and biking a lot. We still eat carrots and tea together three time a week.
