Bria Fernandez is an emerging artist who specialises in figurative painting. While dominance is a particularly interesting theme that she confronts through expressions of submissive body posture or allusive apparatus. Bria's figures are often painted in a pause of self-reflection, somber with no expression.

The artist paints what she believes is the voice of silence, what it feels like to be silenced or invisible as a Black person.
