The assignment: react to Lee Friedlander's image (erickimphotography.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/fr...) and try to emulate the artist's intent, not imitate it. This is one of my attempts, in which I take Friedlander's use of reflections and shadows to include himself in street images. In this case, I have opposed Friedlander by eliminating the distraction of an automobile on the right - Friedlander decided to include the same in his image.

this one is photoshopped a lot lot more than any other photo i've stuck on flickr. the image was really dark at first, but i ended up really liking the washed out effect i ended up with after messing with the levels to the point of just playing around.

All I can say is I can't wait for the weekend. Also, sorry all my pictures lately have been so uncreative. I haven't exactly been able to take pictures of anything since daylight has become nonexistent to me.

Parallel with searching for external ideas, I have also been driven by a sense of curiosity and wish to find out more about my artistic inclination. I am hoping that this will help me to slowly develop an individual approach in art and architecture. I look into myself and let my hand draw freely to trace accurately the landscape of my mind.

The world in my perspective :)

The water was amazingly clear, as you can see. It cast sharp reflections.

In a rare self-portrait, I use long exposure to capture a sense of loneliness and ghostliness.

If ever there's time for self-reflection, it's a birthday. It’s a time to acknowledge your

birth—your very existence. And then, for some, it's an opportunity to celebrate a

self-inflicted rebirth. 60 years ago Xavier Prou, a boy who would later go on to study

at one of the finest French art schools, Ecole de Beaux-Arts, hit the planet. 30 years

ago, stenciling life-size figures on the streets of Paris and leaving running rodents

across city walls, Blek le Rat was born.

First shot over the year as the war started. First time there was a feeling that I wanted to take a camera and expose (myself?).

Kyiv, NY 2023 is comming...

The leaves combined with the water on this driveway just worked :)

No awesome scenery or fantastic composition here. Keeping it real out of necessity.

Kevin claimed me as his friend the minute I walked by him. He was nice, but quite inebriated. He asked me my name 4 times. He talked nonstop. He seemed lonely. He enjoyed having his picture taken. Where were my model releases?

Looking in the glass door first thing in the morn, anticipation on what the day may hold. Self-reflection - cool!
