Every once in a while you just need to get creative with processing.

- The petals are still a bit furled and in the process of unfolding...

- The center is still all green instead of multicolored...

- Selective colors emphasized in post-processing...

Wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa) is a native flower - It looks great at this time of year in flower under the trees at Rowallane.

 

Popular with the bees collecting pollen - very out of focus cream load visible here but better (in focus) in the next picture

I combined infrared and selective coloring in this shot. I think it came out OK. Wish I would have got hand placement closer to the bow though.
