Every once in a while you just need to get creative with processing.
Shot in high key with one layer of decreased clarity and 3 layers of selective color with different saturation levels
Alicia and I had a great day Saturday, hiking around and enjoying the beautiful weather. These are some post that we came across on one of the paths that we hiked.

an impressive animal. it was waiting just for me. to have a picture taken. and i thought, this "selective color"-thingy might be just the right thing!

This little guy was faced forward so perfectly that it looked like he was just presenting himself for a picture on an evening walk about the neighborhood.

Wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa) is a native flower - It looks great at this time of year in flower under the trees at Rowallane.
Popular with the bees collecting pollen - very out of focus cream load visible here but better (in focus) in the next picture
