I combined infrared and selective coloring in this shot. I think it came out OK. Wish I would have got hand placement closer to the bow though.

This was my first maternity photo shoot with some great friends of mine. It's an amazing honor to be able to capture this time in their lives for them. The responsibility that they placed upon me was appreciated and humbling.
I'm not sure if this is the car that specifically pulls people over for DWB in Woburn, but I think the ideal that justice is blind is undermined by police cars with the words "selective enforcement" on the side
I wanted to try a shot with the sky as background and a small part of the wee beasty in focus. It was actually quite hard to get down there and keep the camera still so there is a tiny amount of camera shake.
No idea whether this makes any sense... but it's one of the four weekly assigments for dave's latest group Take A Class With Dave.

(Having spent much of my life on or near the ocean, I've learned to appreciate the properties of stainless steel. I love this solid, satin-smooth block of stainless that houses the lock mechanism -- beautiful stuff, especially in contrast with the bright, delicate border of rust where it meets the weld.)
