First attempt ever at selective color.

I finally got a picture of Stella that lent itself well to the selective coloring on the eyes.

This is selective focus because my grandpa is clear and the background is blurred .

The subject is my grandpa.

This is a snap from the first outing of the Tokina 35mm back in September.

I've been playing in Photoshop Elements trying to do selective colour with layers, and also subtly use the 'Liquify' tool.

The comparison is here. I've tried to 'round out' the conker with the liquify tool and set the background to b&w.

This self-portrait was used for Selective Color, obviously. However, I had a bigger issue in mind when shooting. I was looking up women's rights and dates of sufferage all over the world. I knew that women in Saudi Arabia have next to no rights but their expected sufferage date is 2015. Although I do not think that is plausable I wish to support their freedom.

Just an experiment with photoshop and selective color.
