Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a pink or purple day at Color my world Daily but obviously I will skip it this week. We have an awesome theme at Smile on Saturday (one of my favourite groups on Flickr) and it is selective multicolour. I had lots of ideas for this picture but finally I decided to go with smarties. Not only because they are one of my favourite candies but also because of the multicolour factor. I took this picture on my cheat day and since I was home alone there was no one to share my candies with (and it is a very, very rare situation here …)… Isn’t that awesome ? It is like Christmas before Christmas ;-).
Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!
Sorry for not answering your comments yesterday, but my parent dropped by with a few bottles of emergency wine (apparently you are always suppose to have some emergency wine with you ... according to my parents) and yadayadayada, long story short, I have a huge hungover today… I will be back as soon, as my fingers are able to write again ….
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
The leaves on the ground were sodden with the overnight rain but as I walked in the morning light I noticed that one upended and backlit by the sun.
I used selective colouring to isolate the leaves in the light
I used selective colouring to bring out the colour of the fallen Acer leaves and the beautifully patterned cyclamen leaves

Out hiking the meadow area, with a lower afternoon sun shining through these autumn gems. I focused deep, shallow and somewhere in between. I liked this one the best!
The simplicity is what intrigues me in nature!

I took my new camera on a trip to Weston Shore to try out and see how I liked it.
Walking at Netley Abbey I noticed this building on the recreation ground and tried the s/c in-camera option. It even brought up details my eye had not taken on board such as the burglar alarm and the bits of moss on the roof.
