The Titanoboa arrived at the National Museum of Natural History in six distinct segments, each weighing in at about 200-300 pounds.
The snake is on display in the national traveling exhibition "Titanoboa: Monster Snake."

S129-E-006721 (19 Nov. 2009) --- Astronaut Robert L. Satcher Jr., STS-129 mission specialist, participates in the mission's first session of extravehicular activity (EVA) as construction and maintenance continue on the International Space Station. During the six-hour, 37-minute spacewalk, Satcher and astronaut Mike Foreman (out of frame), mission specialist, installed a spare S-band antenna structural assembly to the Z1 segment of the station's truss, or backbone. Foreman and Satcher also installed a set of cables for a future space-to-ground antenna on the Destiny laboratory and replaced a handrail on the Unity node with a new bracket used to route an ammonia cable that will be needed for the Tranquility node when it is delivered next year. The two spacewalkers also repositioned a cable connector on Unity, checked S0 truss cable connections, and lubricated latching snares on the Kibo robotic arm and the station's mobile base system.

Uno de los segmentos más numerosos de la población también puede disfrutar de disciplina física y mental este verano en Viña del Mar.
Una de las grandes preocupaciones de la gestión de la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato, junto a la Ilustre Municipalidad de Viña del Mar, ha sido el bienestar de la tercera edad en la comuna, para lo que se han desarrollado desde proyectos hasta talleres especialmente pensado para este importante segmento que muchas veces es olvidado por nuestra sociedad.
Entre estos talleres, se encuentran los de actividad física incluidos en el programa “Activados”, que la jefa comunal, junto al municipio, vienen implementando desde hace años en la ciudad, a través de la Casa del Deporte, con el objetivo de acercar el deporte y el ejercicio a toda la población.
Además de la gimnasia y la hidrogimnasia, disciplinas pensadas para el mencionado segmento, también la yoga, especialmente orientada al adulto mayor, ha sido incluida en la oferta, ya que sus beneficios son importantes en el aspecto físico general, y para prolongar los años de autonomía del ser humano.
Actualmente, la Ciudad del Deporte cuenta con dos talleres de yoga orientado al adulto mayor, uno de ellos es el que se realiza todos los martes y jueves, de 10:00 a 12:00 hrs., en el Gimnasio Corporación Municipal, ubicado en calle 10 Norte con 2 Oriente, y para participar sólo hay que asistir el día y la hora al lugar que ha sido fijada la clase para llenar una hoja de matrícula gratuita. Te esperamos!

Day 2 (Segment 25)
random campsite to random campsite
After the pass were a few switchbacks. Switchbacks tend to lessen the steepness, as well as prevent water erosion. Dropping from the treeline the trail went in and out of the trees. There were a couple of nice cascading waterfalls. I stumbled upon a plaque commemorating Gudy Gaskill who was known as the ‘Mother of the Colorado Trail.’ She worked tirelessly to ensure the Colorado Trail became a reality. Although the CT follows the same footpath as the Continental Divide Trail for many miles, it does not share the same designation as a National Scenic Trail.
As Grizzly Peak loomed over and shortly after finding the plaque prominently displayed on a large rock, the trail crossed Cascade Creek via a bridge. Having built several trail bridges myself (on the AT), I can imagine the difficulty in the construction process, including the transportation of materials to this isolated area.
Steady uphill, sidehill climb was next. The trail meandered along with still awesome views. Encountered a ‘false’ pass only to make the turn and see that I had another ½ mile or so to go. False summits, or a pass in this instance, are usually disappointing when you realize you haven’t quite attained the goal. With a very prominent, busting through the pines, Engineer Mountain, it was difficult to be disappointed. A stunning, singular peak reaching to almost 13, 000 ft (12,968’).
A huge meadow with frequent trees was pleasant to stroll through giving a final glimpse of Engineer Mountain. After a short dirt road hike, I took a break at Celebration Lake which some online maps claim to be Bolam Lake. Bolam Pass Rd is also here as the beginning of Segment 26. There were bikers and other day users enjoying the abundant sunshine here.
A few more hours of hiking led me through another nice meadow. I was feeling pretty good as I stopped at a water source for dinner. Oftentimes campsites are dry so I would stop early for dinner and camel up for the next day. Water was plentiful today but tomorrow includes a dry section through Segment 27.
After about 15.9 miles of hiking, I found a decent campsite nestled amongst some tall pines. Couldn’t have asked for a better weather day with no clouds in sight all day.

This is a photograph from the finish of the 2nd annual running of the Trim AC 10 Mile Road Race and Fun Run which was held in Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday 7th February 2016 at 12:00. The race attracted over 650 participants and already the event shows growth on last year's number of participants. The race started on the Trim/Athboy road on the town's ring road and proceded to take an anti-clockwise loop out towards the village of Dunderry and townland of Kilbride before returning back to the Trim Industrial Estate for the finish. The route is all quiet country roads with some hills at 3, 6, 8 mile segments. Today the weather was every runner's nightmare: very cold air temperatures and from mile 4 until the finish a very strong headwind. While the weather was dry without any rain the windy conditions made a very fair course challenging. Waterstops were provided at the 4.5 and 7 mile marks on the course. All access roads were well stewarded. The event was sponsored by Bewleys 1840 and many local business establishments. Credit must go to the Trim AC team for their flawless organisation. This race will continue to grow. For runners around the North Leinster area this 10 mile race serves as a perfect training progress stepping stone to the Bohermeen Half Marathon which will take place in March 2016 and is located only 15 minutes drive from Trim. This yet again proves that a great club with great local support and volunteers can organise great road races!

The explaination is very simple.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase.
