Gathered below the Magnolia in my front yard. Probably about 6 inches in length. I liike the way the seperate seed holders look like talking mouths.

A seed pod in my garden that I don't recognize. Looks like I will have plenty more of this plant from the empty holes so I get more chances. :)
Greensborough. the striped seed pod is some sort of pine cone. The flower is from the same tree as the pointy native seed pods. This tree grows at the local gemstone club and the Gang gang cockatoos bite the seed pods off.
