This is a photo of my tomato seedlings I shot on my iPhone with hipstamaticapp.com which created some vintage film photo effects. This is my favorite of the shots, still trying to figure out the settings though

Seedlings are tomatoes, herbs, marigolds and impatience. I started them from seed middle of March. Some in sunroom and some in basement. I put off transplanting seedlings to large pots I prepared today because it was almost 90 degrees. Too hot for transplants. This hot weather is unusual for April.
Cycad seedlings coming on quite nicely now. The seedlings with large leaves are Cycas seemannii, the slightly smaller and more slender leaf stalks are Cycas panzhihuaensis, and there are also Dioon spinulosum and Zamia roezlii seeds in there. IMG_9807
These are a few of the seedlings I sowed about a month ago.
Seedlings include: Various Lettuce, Kailaan, Bok Choy, Meadow Foam, Calendula

The soft mist and fine drizzle rain were gently dancing in the air.

This was very tricky. The seedlings are on the beach of the enormous Negro river and it was so windy that it took me many shots while trying to get a relatively sharp one. I still don't have a tripod either.
seedling of Avicennia marina (white mangrove, family: Avicenniaceae) on Pemba bay in northern Mozambique
A smaller Epithelantha bokei [JM/14] in the same batch sown by me on Feb 14th, 12015. Always loved the spines on these!
This one is smaller (around 1.2cm wide), so the whole apex fits in the picture well!
a tray of sown seed destined for plug plants for my new meadow ("Ranger's Meadow") -plan is these will be decent sized plants for transplanting into the meadow in the Autumn.
Red Campion plugs will be specifically for an area next to the hedge where there is some shade.
Keen to get my eye in and also have reference photos of seedlings of interest so I can hopefully identify them at this stage in future years as the meadow develops.
It was a cold walk Saturday morning. Yet, surprising a lot of people where there early taking pictures. I took a picture of these seedlings lighted by the morning sunrise. I found them in The Glassroom greenhouse on the Fruit and Vegetable Island. It's a great place to warm up a few minutes when the wind is cold. Have a great weekend everyone!
