Ian, Erik and I show how safe and secure we feel.

Securing today’s connected enterprise is a race across many different terrains where we are often unsure or unaware of what lies ahead and who or where our opponents really are.As boundaries continue to erode between the physical and cyber worlds, between high and low-tech risks, between the human workforce and artificial intelligence, and as the valuation of digital compared to physical assets undergoes radical shifts, ASIS Europe 2018 tackles the most challenging issues.Cyber-physical threats in hyper-complex, connected environments are the core themes of the event.ASIS, as a global community of security practitioners tasked with the protection of assets – people, property, and information – is uniquely positioned to deal with enterprise-wide risks.

After the log demo, technical writers updated user manuals with the Soldiers’ feedback and will continue updating them throughout the life cycle of the product.

I do find it amazing that Promethea caterpillars know they need to secure their leaf before they begin to fashion their cocoon.

At least the lock is secure.

Eastmoor Reformatory was started in 1857 for the Reformation of Juvenile Offenders, and by 1881, was licensed for 160 boys (all of whom came after a prison sentence) most aged 12-16 (the youngest was 10, the oldest 18) who came from all over industrial Britain. Many of the buildings here are the original ones.

The highest scoring item on the visitors i-spy card is the swimming pool, built in 1887 as an open air one. By 1896 a roof was built over it, and, three years later it was heated.

Looking back on pictures a year or two ago, the pool has a lot less water in. Now, the broken roof lights allow in rain water, and it is slowly filling up.

This is only part of the Eastmoor site, half of it is still live, and still supporting young offenders in their rehabilitation as a secure residential school. Occasionally voices could be heard from the high fenced playing field next door.

Some good news for those keen on following the Eastmoor story. On the 6th of November 2009 (the irony of it being the day after bonfire night didn't escape me), the Victorian building feature here received a Grade II listing.

Idea: The kid being “secured” maybe by a kidnapper or by its parent is represented by the lock and key.

Material: An old image of me on my dad with a paintbrush tool in illustrator.

Process: Sketching my father with a hood on and a baby looking back, and scattering locks and keys

Optionally secure Subwoofer in trunk. I used (3) two-sided Velcro strips (8 x 2 inches) to secure the subwoofer to the carpet. I also added a 2-headed slide bolt running from a Screw-Eye (drilled into the Subwoofer case) to a hard-point bracket near the rear transom floor. I believe this bracket is used for straps to secure a sun-roof panel in the trunk. My car has no sun-roof. If you have a sun-roof you may need to use a different position, or securing method, for the Subwoofer. I added the slide-bolt solely to keep the Subwoofer from coming loose in a collision. The Velcro holds it securely in place otherwise. NOTE: I was actually motivated to install the slide-bolt in an attempt to pass tech inspections at local Autocross events. I did not want to remove the sub in order to compete. I passed just fine at PCA events. I haven't tried SCCA Solo II events yet with this setup. In my experience their inspectors usually frown on anything creative - especially so on Porsches or Corvettes!

The Magpies suffered their first home league defeat since August as Harrogate scored late to secure all three points in a game of few incidents.

Regional Optimization Master Plan (ROMP) provides Pima County WW treatment to 2030

Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility

The Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) will replace the existing Roger Road Water Reclamation Facility. The Roger Road facility which began operating in the 1951 has a capacity of 41 million gallons a day (MGD). The old technology used to process wastewater flows at this facility cannot meet modern-day environmental standards. The Agua Nueva WRF will meet standards required for effluent discharges into the Santa Cruz River. In Pima County’s agreement with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), the Agua Nueva facility was scheduled to be fully operational in January 2015. However, this facility is ahead of schedule, and will likely begin treating wastewater in February 2014. The price tag for the Agua Nueva WRF originally was budgeted at $275 million. However, it appears that this project will be completed for less than $180 million.

With the opening of this facility and the decommissioning of the decades-old Roger Road WRF, treatment plant odors which have plagued the Westside of Tucson for many years will no longer be a problem. The Agua Nueva WRF will have state of the art odor control technology in strategic locations throughout the facility.

The capacity of the new facility is 32 MGD. Solids will not be treated at the Agua Nueva WRF; instead, solids will be conveyed to and treated at the upgraded and expanded Ina Road WRF.

My friend's car, he purchased this on a bit of a whim as it was in the showroom at Porsche Centre Swindon when he went to collect his new Macan.

It is original paint and he managed to secure the last set of Porsche Classic Fuchs style wheels from Germany, as originally specified for the 997 Speedster variant.
