Within the former German-Soviet Environmental Agreement in the years 1989-1991 3 biological expeditions to the Taymyr peninsula in northernmost Siberia were performed. They laid the ground for the establishment (1993) of the Great Arctic Reserve (Zapovednik). The Taymyr peninsula is covered by the most extensive and northernmost tundra habitats in Siberia. These enormous wetlands are used during the short Arctic summer by millions of waterbirds, which winter in Southern Europe, Southern Asia and Africa. The biodiversity of the Taymyr peninsula is with 20% well covered with different kinds of protected areas. However, there may be need to connect them by South-North corridors to secure adaptation of biodiversity moving North with climate change. With increased warming and thawing of tundra massive release of methane stored in the ground could trigger further climate change.

In an effort to secure the famous Blue Chair of Grimsby, Ontario, against the criminal acts of malicious vandals and, heaven forbid, thieves, it was decided by local council to install a guard duck of the species Anas Sapone Omnìum Largitorem as a key element of the new permanent security systems. Given the importance of such an installation, a suitable ceremony was necessary. A formal request was made to the Governor General to have a member of Her Majesty’s Scottish Bagpipe Ducks Regiment (all members of HMSBDR are required to be of the species Flexilis anatis bagpiper) attend the ceremony. The highlight of the event, seen here, the formal piping in of the first guard duck will go down in the history of this key town of Canada. - JW

Legs locked straight in braces her feet were suspended in air. The ankle strapped sandals still apply enough control of the feet for them to remain in the braced position. Look closely by the heel, on the underside of the sole and you can see the barrel bolt which helps to secure the sandals to the braces. These Braces are for sale. Made to measure braces and custom made bondage gear is also available. Contact me at my1970junk@msn.com.

To secure the facility, the windows and doorways on the ground floors of the buildings were walled over with cinder blocks. Window-sized steel plates were attached to the windows on the upper floors, bolted onto a pair of 2 by 4 braces that cross the windows on the inside, as you see here. This particular steel covering has been wiggled loose; many have been removed altogether and lie on the ground one story below.

A Camera Club walk around a local creek turned up some interesting, mundane subjects. I thought this bollard and anchor rope on an old fishing boat would benefit from a monochrome treatment.
Fiz este layout inspirado num da Sara mas não sei se vai ser realmente a prévia final o que vocês acham ?

Nimbin
Location in New South Wales
Nimbin is a village in the Northern Rivers area of the Australian state of New South Wales, approximately 30 km (19 mi) north of Lismore, 33 km (21 mi) southeast of Kyogle, and 70 km (43 mi) west of Byron Bay.
Nimbin is notable for the prominence of its environmental initiatives such as permaculture, sustainability, self-sufficiency as well as the cannabis counterculture. Writer Austin Pick described his initial impressions of the village this way: "It is as if a smoky avenue of Amsterdam has been placed in the middle of the mountains behind frontier-style building facades. ... Nimbin is a strange place indeed."[2]
Nimbin has been described in literature and mainstream media as 'the drug capital of Australia', 'a social experiment' and 'an escapist sub-culture'. Nimbin has become an icon in Australian cultural history with many of the values first introduced there by the counterculture becoming part of modern Australian culture.[3]
