The vivid colors and texture of barkcloth never really do come through in a picture, do they?

I saw them in the secondhand store and I knew: "They must be mine!" I think they're made of stone because they are quite heavy. If you know anything about these figures, please let me know it.

I love finding parts where former owners have left their mark,

From the haul earlier this week, a halter dress I got for Megan for her birthday. It was the usual $7.50 or whatever Goodwill charges, and I think it will fit her quite well, as it was roomy in the bust for me (alas). I had to resist the temptation to claim it for myself, but Shelby agreed it's perfect for M.

Witness also the hanger/hook thing M and I trash-picked last spring, and my wedding-present Timbuk-2 bag. And my arm, unfortunately.
