In this Nov. 3, 2019 photo, Yenika Calderon, left, watches customers look through her personal belongings at a secondhand market, in Caracas, Venezuela. Calderon, 41, who is hoping to pocket enough money to give her young family a fresh start far away in Spain, has trekked to the secondhand market every Sunday in recent weeks, haggling with customers over prices for her favorite handbags and her son’s baby clothes. Whew! I'm so glad that I shot these photos over the weekend when the weather was still nice. We're been drenched severely for the third time in three weeks over the past 2 days and things are definitely feeling dreary. But these pictures remind me of the future sunlight that is expected to come through later on in the week. Let's hope the clouds will break long enough for me to get some more outfit shots!
All of the items in this look are relatively new to me, pretty much acquired over just the last year. Awesomely enough, each one has become a great staple in my wardrobe. The creamy knit sweater fits nice and snug through the arms and adds a cosy finish to an outfit worn on a breezy day. It was passed on to me secondhand.
Just round the corner from L'Imaginaire and only open on Saturdays and Sundays when the market is at its fullest.
I assume these little salt and pepper shakers are supposed to represent and Inuit couple. They're from Finalnd and I was told they were from about 1960.
