A symbolic motif of the preparation of the throne for Christ's Second Coming. In Byzantine iconography, the representation of the vacant throne (Hetoimasia, Etimacia) denoted either God the Father, or the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Various attributes appear on the throne, in this case an open book, and there is invariably a cross associated with it.

This post is coming late, but a few weeks ago we had this incredible storm brewing at sunset...the colors and clouds were astonishing.
The line was down around the corner. It was 11:00 and the people at the front of the line had been there since 7:00 am. Once you make it to the front of the line, another line began inside the store. From that point it took another 1 1/2 hours to get through the line inside the store and complete the process.

"The Church of England parish church of Saint Mary is renowned for its complete set of medieval stained glass, stone carvings and misericords. Built in the early 1490s, the church is an example of late Perpendicular Gothic architecture that is characterised by slim stone window mullions and light but strong buttresses. The style enabled larger windows than previously, allowing much more light into the building. Grade 1 listed by English Heritage, St. Mary's is of national historical and architectural importance because it houses the most complete set of mediaeval stained glass windows in the country, attributed to Barnard Flower, and its structure and details remains unaltered since originally built."

FYI, this claim was first made in the bible... by Jesus himself. He said he'd return in the same lifetime as the people around him (Matthew 16: 27, 28). JC was wrong 2000 years ago, and these dribblers are wrong now.

The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan in 1678. This story was based on a series of dreams Bunyan had when he was jailed for preaching the gospel. This book has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print. Christian, the central character in the story, journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. Along the way he faces many dangers and obstacles. This story closely resembles many of the life experiences Christians have pre and post conversion on the road of life, the pitfalls and dangers faced in the lives of many Christian believers who are on the same journey.
This movie is loosely based on Part II of The Pilgrim’s Progress where Christian’s wife ( Christiana ) follow in the footsteps of her husband, the plot of this movie incorporates some of the events from part 1 and presents present modern day scenarios into this classic story.

The 'Great Tribulation' is a period of time mentioned by Jesus as a sign that would occur before the end of time.
According to the marker pen artist on this traffic light control enclosure in Loughborough, this 7 year period 'Great Tribulation' will start in 2015.
The period is characterised by worldwide hardships, disasters, famine, war, pain, and suffering, which will wipe out more than 75% of all life on the earth before the Second Coming takes place.
If you are lucky then you'll be 'raptured' before the end of time (believers will be raised from the earth to meet him in the air). Various predictions when this date will be have all failed. Most recently, and infamously, is the October 2011 date by Harold Camping.

Futurists have been conditioned, over the centuries, to believe that Jesus is going to return for THEM. To rescue THEM from this evil world where Satan is in control.
Some believe that when He returns for them, He will reign for 1,000 years. Those 1,000 years will be filled with peace.
Others believe when He returns, it will be the end of human history.
Some believe the Earth will be destroyed.
Some have gone so far as to say that the "1,000 year millenial reign" happens AFTER Armageddon. This is totally contrary to what Revelation 20 says. They teach this because it doesn't make sense to have Jesus reigning for 1,000 years that are filled with peace only to have Armageddon commence AFTER His "Millenial Reign".
There are many other variations that Futrurists have been taught regarding Jesus' "Second Coming" that are too numerous to list here.
Futurists have been conditioned, over the centuries, to pay no attention to verses that point out that Jesus' Return (His "Second Coming") WAS/IS in judgment of the 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL AND THAT HE WAS GOING TO RETURN DURING THAT GENERATION'S LIFETIME:
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

They have been conditioned to believe, over the centuries, that His judgment will be of the entire Earth and NOT SPECIFICALLY of the 12 Tribes of Israel.
