Second Presbyterian Church at 1936 S. Michigan Ave. has been the church home to many leading citizens, including the Pullmans, Blackstones and Armours. The congregation was organized on June 1, 1842, just five years after the incorporation of the City of Chicago. Three months later, the congregation dedicated its first building, a modest frame building at the southeast corner of Randolph and Clark streets. Construction on the present building, designed by James Renwick Jr., was begun in 1872 at the northwest corner of S. Michigan Avenue and E. 20th (now Cullerton) Street. The design was based on English Gothic churches of the 15th and 16th centuries. It took two years to complete. Following a devastating fire in 1900, the congregation hired Howard Van Doren Shaw and Frederic Clay Bartlett to rebuild the interior in the Arts and Crafts style. Stunning memorial windows made by William Morris & Company, Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company, Tiffany Studios, McCully & Miles and Louis J. Millet enhance the church's interior. Original Bartlett murals, light fixtures and 175 angels grace the space.

Yes, I love the game. I'm there for hours every single day. But sometimes I get so frustrated I could scream! Seems any time I try to do something with my inventory like copy new purchases to it or take things from it and put it into the contents of an object, or even editing an object, I disconnect from the server and can't move. Then when I relog, only part of me and my surroundings will rezz and I am still stuck in the spot I logged in at. This requires the clearing of cache and a few other things that take lots of time. Yes, I have a system where I have to go onto another computer, crash myself on that client and then holy miracles, I can log on with full functioning on my own computer again.
I haven't downloaded the optional updates, so why is this happening to me all of a sudden? GRRRRRR
PS - That's a prim tie I'm wearing that only has the knot rezzed, of course hair isn't fully rezzed, and there should be a wall and door there on my house, but it's not there right now lol. SL ate my stuff!!!

"A chair should be more than simply functional. It should be friendly, fun and colorful." -Pierre Paulin
Designed in 1960, the Orange Slice is a timeless icon that looks as fresh and inspired today as it did when it was first created. Anyone who sees several Slice chairs together cannot fail to be touched by the playfulness fo the composition. From different visual angles, the Orange Slice shows several stages of 'curl up'. In fact, the chair seems to change shape every time you look at it.

It's all there. I need to add another chain-hanger, about 10mm underneath the canti boss, in order to get the jockey arm out of harm's way.

There were actually 2 eagles, probably a breeding pair. She was on another nearby pole. She took off right when I stepped out of the car so this was the only shot I got of her. Because this eagle was slightly larger, it most likely is the female of the pair. You can see just how foggy & gloomy the weather was. So glad I didn't let the weather deter me from going.
