Weddings are complicated affairs. When, where and what am I going to wear? A wedding is complicated in real life and equally complex in Second Life.

An old friend invited me to his best friend's wedding. My friend was the best man and he had never been part of a wedding party. So I went to help support him and get some inspiration for when I get married...

Annie and Douglas, a beautiful couple held their nuptials at Rose Gardens. The sim is built for weddings and it is simply elegant.

Annie's dress was beautiful and Douglas was elegant in his tuxedo. Morgana Shi was the minister and her words were beautiful spoken and timely for the couple.

My friend was best man while Benny was another attendant. Penny and Shila were Annie's bridesmaids.

I didn't know anyone there except for my friend, but all welcomed me as part of their special day. I had a lot of fun that afternoon just talking and watching a beautiful event.

Yes, a wedding only takes but a few minutes to complete... but over months and months of planning takes place to accomplish that wonderful day. Congratulations to Annie and Douglas and thank you very much for your hospitality!

Second Life holiday parties was an incredible mix of trance, dnb, electronica, dark psy, goa, minimal, proggy, acid, experimental, industrial, noize, tribal, jazz, live music, country, blues, reggae, salsa, classical, opera, and Christmas music. I heard it all and then some.

I love music of all kinds. If it's good, it's worth listening to, so don't start with the nose-up-in-the-air over your favorite genre. Believe me... good music will always find an audience. An audience of sophisticated listeners will stop to listen to any good sound... even if it isn't part of your normal repertoire.

What is amazing is that dj's and musicians around the world know this, and they borrow from all genres to create their own personal sounds.

Here in Second Life, we get the results from around the world. World music mixes with the trendy sounds of the day, and we get the sounds that we love so much.

I want to thank all the dj's, musicians, club owners and event makers in SL. You guys made a holiday scene like no other. APPLAUSE & BRAVO ::::

Without you guys, the party scene would be dull indeed!

2009... here we goooooo!

· GOING STAG ·

My salsa partner couldn’t make our second class but I went anyway. Now I know a move that he does not!

For my second salsa class, I wore shorts and a tank and then topped that with a sheer dress. It still was too much clothing for the steamy studio.

Dress, O’Neill (thrifted). Sneakers, Rocket Dog. Earrings, flea market. Bag, A+ by Aldo (with an Amazon strap).

One of very few snapshots I ever took when I was in Teen Second Life (just before transferring to the main grid (December 2008)).

A snapshot I took of the entire Teen Grid (yes, the whole map). When people told me that the main grid was supposally huge compared to the tsl map, they weren't kidding. I didn't think they meant that it literally was that massive.

Now called the "Prince of Wales Bridge"

In the game Second Life, I play the avatar Juushika Redgrave.

Something a little different for today. This entire outfit was just an elaborate excuse to wear this hair, which I purchased after seeing it featured on Savior Hair. I have a bit of a weakness for odango--hair buns with ponytails. I edited the hair to cover my system ears, and wore my cat ears down to keep them from sliding into the buns. I also tinted the hair--the Mirada reds are darker and more purple than I like, so I bought the golds and tinted the orange color, instead. This won't be an every day hairstyle for me, but that doesn't stop me from loving it to pieces.

I paired the hair with a camisole (from the Big Mix set) and a jacket with gloves (from the Camerine set) from PixelDolls, and a skirt from Material Squirrel, lightly tinted. MS skirts are a bit too flexi, but they are invaluable seperates and work very well with PixelDoll clothes (which I often have a hard time matching to anything but more PD). The necklace is Boing Fromage, edited to make the cameo setting silver, and the hair rose is of course from Essentia. The skin is from Exotica--my old skin, which I used to wear all the time before finding Sin Skins. The eyes are from Extreme Vision, which I found after it was mentioned on SL Men. Extreme Vision eyes are overpriced, but the unnatural set is pretty good and carries more reasonable price tags.

Because I wear a collar, ears, tail, and whiskers, I often run out of attachment points. I've learned to attach all neck-up ornaments to my mouth (my free attachment point) and all necklaces to my spine (as my collar is a chest attachment), and then reposition carefully. I also keep two sets of each version of my tail: one that attaches to pelvis, and one that attaches to stomach. That way, I can use whichever one won't override the various attachment points used for skirts.

A southbound passes through the second large cut south of Tatesville, Ky on a dreary summer day.

The last few days have been a flurry of activity with building on the river and wet lands. But, in between I have gone to a bunch of new places and back to some of my favorite venues.

Xavier & I love to salsa. So we did a search and wham, we found >Latin Palace Dance Club. Couples were dancing in dressy attire to wonderful salsa music. Wearing a tuxedo without a shirt and me in a short cocktail dress, it so reminded Xavier & me of Miami clubs.

A stopover at Organica to catch the last hour of DJ Qee's set woke us up with a nice psy jolt! So good to hear Qee's dynamic sounds and see old friends.

A brand new club called Fear FM sent me a tp. I got to meet owner/builder Cypher Webb. Beautifully built by Cypher, he was also spinning an awesome set of hardstyle and goth rock. I had a blast there. Cypher is also recruiting DJ's so peeps, give him a shout!

It was so late on Thursday night (Fri morn?) that I just had to stop off and say hi to DJ Xavi at The Cave. Owner Tasty Hax was there, too. I run into her at every party!

Friday afternoon, I got a tp from one of the builders. I ended up at Blackhearts 80's club. I love the funkiness of this club. So simple. It feels like a rock n roll club. Halloween was coming and the Pillsbury Dough Boy showed up! LOL!

Late night, and Xavier & I headed for DJ Nebulae's set at Piranha. Xavi loves this club. He set his JMD Effects hud on and we were in psy heaven. We always have fun at Shad's club!

In between all the craziness, I hit New Berlin's Electro Smog. Gee... I can't seem to get enough of this place. Zap Hax was hosting and DJ djleftydc Denja was spinning a sweet set of tunes.

Another new place I landed upon was Le Ghetto Hype. This is a fun club of alternative and eclectic tunes. Owner DJ Frederick Neberle & partner ARNAUD Mureaux have built a wonderful place to hang.

Off to Divaz Lounge! DJ 8wall Wrigglesworth just sent me a tp! OMG, 8wall is spinning at Divaz.

I met 8wall at Dance Island last year and then over at Nutrie. He spins a very chill set of house and minimal tunes.

But, the highlight of my night was at Old Factory listening to DJ Jeangilles Anthony. This frenchman is an artist. Beautiful industrial noise layered with a hardstyle beat... then transcending into experimental music... psychedelic experimental noise. LOL! and I fell asleep there... just couldn't leave!

Late night on Friday, Xavier and I ended up at DJ Digital Francis' Le Pardis de Digital Nation. It was an after party and Digi was spinning. Xavi & Digi started a "stump me" game. I think Digital was very impressed with Xavier's musical knowledge. They bro-downed the entire night leaving me and DJ Snowkitty dumbfounded... 'cause neither of us knew any of the tunes. LOL! I think Xavier has a new favorite dj now!

Victor Ruiz (15-3, 11 KOs) scored a tenth round unanimous decision over Timur Shailezov (17-7-1, 4 KOs). Scores were 99-91, 97-93 and 99-91.

In the female co-feature, Chantel Cordova (12-5, 3 KOs) claimed the vacant NABF female super flyweight title after scoring a ten round split decision victory over Patricia Alcivar (7-2, 3 KOs)

On the undercard promoted by Bobby D Presents,

Undefeated welterweight Maurice Hooker (13-0-2, 9 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Lauro Alcantar (8-2, 1 KO). Referee Eddie Hernandez waved it off at 2:17.

Super bantamweight Rafael Espinoza (3-0, 2 KOs) stopped Victor serrano (4-5, 1 KO) in the fifth round. Official time of the stoppage was 2:05.

Featherweight Roque Ramos (4-0-1, 1 KO) scored a unanimous decision over Jesus sandoval (3-2-3) after four rounds.

Light heavyweight Alberto Fundora (1-0, 1 KO) was successful in his pro debut, stopping Albert Avina (0-2) in the second round of a scheduled four.

Brush Management is the management or removal of woody (non-herbaceous or succulent) plants including those that are invasive and noxious. This creates the desired plant community consistent with the ecological site or a desired state within the site description; restores or release desired vegetative cover to protect soils, control erosion, reduce sediment, improve water quality, or enhance hydrology.• Maintain, modify, or enhance fish and wildlife habitat; improves forage accessibility, quality, and quantity for livestock and wildlife; Manages fuel loads to achieve desired conditions; controls pervasive plant species to a desired level of treatment that will ultimately contribute to creation or maintenance of an ecological site description “steady state” addressing the need for forage, wildlife habitat, and/or water quality.

The A List! has settled into a nice niche of wonderful people, clubs, djs, musicians, sim owners, event planners, artists and creators.

But, the best part is that now both Xavi and I have our own resource for the best of the best in Second Life. I just wait to see that orange A List logo pop up and I know it's either going to be an outrageous party, an elegant ballroom affair, live music or a peaceful exploratory evening on a beautiful sim.

Bella Vida has disco night each month. They redecorate the place to reflect the times. It's always fun to pop in on that one.

Dance 4 Life is one of the newer clubs in Second Life. High above the NYC skyline on the rooftop, you can dance your night away in a beautiful, urban setting.

The other night I stopped off at TrueHouse. True to it's name, the house was sweet and fine. I stayed for quite a while... only taking one picture, 'cause the music was so good... I was so chilled.

DJ Benny Klang was at Haad Rin the other night. From Germany, Benny mixed some great tunes for the beach crowd there that night.

Daemon! We always shout when we hit the floor at Derailed on Sub Zero. Along with dj's Ware & Blabbermouth, DJ Daemon Chadeau is one of our favorite noize makers. We always have a great time there.

DJ Tasty was spinning late one night over at Electro Violence. So I hit the tp for a brief break from building. Always a great way to refocus on the build!

WET Builder Robertson sent a tp with a plea that he needed to take a break. Blackhearts club is a favorite for the 80's music lovers. DJ Thalie was spinning and I always love her sets.

Speaking of dj's, I just love DJ Space Grelling. He and Harriet greet everyone with a friendly smile and shout. And his sets are just so fun. I swear I could hang out at alt7 all day long! LOL!

Check out Bay Vista Live Music scene where you might catch Maxmillion Kleene singing his sweet songs with that mesmerizing voice. I stopped off one day, sitting at the table listening.

And finally, for those who need a romantic evening locked in each other's arms, head towards the legendary, Avilion Ballroom.

Antonio Orozco, the WBC’s top-rated super lightweight, remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory against Abner Lopez in a slugfest at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. Saturday night.

In the co-feature on HBO Latino, former U.S. Olympian Jo-Jo Diaz Jr. displayed his power by knocking out Victor Proa in the second round to remain undefeated.
