i decided to make a second account for "informational" photos so I could keep this account solely for posed & set up photos. I know you can organize photos into folders but I'm weird and like the photostream to look organized too lol. I've been moving photos over from this account so if something disappeared, it's probably over there :P

If you like that type of photo, feel free to follow. If not, no pressure :) Both my accounts are just hobbies for me so follower count isn't important :)

Stone walls are an (endangered) icon of the New England landscape. As colonial-era farmers prepared the rocky New England soil for farming, they picked out the stones and used them to build the walls that marked their property (thrify New England re-use :-) You can learn more about New England stone walls here.

The A List! has settled into a nice niche of wonderful people, clubs, djs, musicians, sim owners, event planners, artists and creators.

But, the best part is that now both Xavi and I have our own resource for the best of the best in Second Life. I just wait to see that orange A List logo pop up and I know it's either going to be an outrageous party, an elegant ballroom affair, live music or a peaceful exploratory evening on a beautiful sim.

Bella Vida has disco night each month. They redecorate the place to reflect the times. It's always fun to pop in on that one.

Dance 4 Life is one of the newer clubs in Second Life. High above the NYC skyline on the rooftop, you can dance your night away in a beautiful, urban setting.

The other night I stopped off at TrueHouse. True to it's name, the house was sweet and fine. I stayed for quite a while... only taking one picture, 'cause the music was so good... I was so chilled.

DJ Benny Klang was at Haad Rin the other night. From Germany, Benny mixed some great tunes for the beach crowd there that night.

Daemon! We always shout when we hit the floor at Derailed on Sub Zero. Along with dj's Ware & Blabbermouth, DJ Daemon Chadeau is one of our favorite noize makers. We always have a great time there.

DJ Tasty was spinning late one night over at Electro Violence. So I hit the tp for a brief break from building. Always a great way to refocus on the build!

WET Builder Robertson sent a tp with a plea that he needed to take a break. Blackhearts club is a favorite for the 80's music lovers. DJ Thalie was spinning and I always love her sets.

Speaking of dj's, I just love DJ Space Grelling. He and Harriet greet everyone with a friendly smile and shout. And his sets are just so fun. I swear I could hang out at alt7 all day long! LOL!

Check out Bay Vista Live Music scene where you might catch Maxmillion Kleene singing his sweet songs with that mesmerizing voice. I stopped off one day, sitting at the table listening.

And finally, for those who need a romantic evening locked in each other's arms, head towards the legendary, Avilion Ballroom.

Second Life holiday parties was an incredible mix of trance, dnb, electronica, dark psy, goa, minimal, proggy, acid, experimental, industrial, noize, tribal, jazz, live music, country, blues, reggae, salsa, classical, opera, and Christmas music. I heard it all and then some.

I love music of all kinds. If it's good, it's worth listening to, so don't start with the nose-up-in-the-air over your favorite genre. Believe me... good music will always find an audience. An audience of sophisticated listeners will stop to listen to any good sound... even if it isn't part of your normal repertoire.

What is amazing is that dj's and musicians around the world know this, and they borrow from all genres to create their own personal sounds.

Here in Second Life, we get the results from around the world. World music mixes with the trendy sounds of the day, and we get the sounds that we love so much.

I want to thank all the dj's, musicians, club owners and event makers in SL. You guys made a holiday scene like no other. APPLAUSE & BRAVO ::::

Special thanks to you <3:

2009... here we goooooo!

In order to meet the water flow requirements during periods with drought , the plantation management team and our engineers decided to install a second pump in order to support irrigation .

Weddings are complicated affairs. When, where and what am I going to wear? A wedding is complicated in real life and equally complex in Second Life.

An old friend invited me to his best friend's wedding. My friend was the best man and he had never been part of a wedding party. So I went to help support him and get some inspiration for when I get married...

Annie and Douglas, a beautiful couple held their nuptials at Rose Gardens. The sim is built for weddings and it is simply elegant.

Annie's dress was beautiful and Douglas was elegant in his tuxedo. Morgana Shi was the minister and her words were beautiful spoken and timely for the couple.

My friend was best man while Benny was another attendant. Penny and Shila were Annie's bridesmaids.

I didn't know anyone there except for my friend, but all welcomed me as part of their special day. I had a lot of fun that afternoon just talking and watching a beautiful event.

Yes, a wedding only takes but a few minutes to complete... but over months and months of planning takes place to accomplish that wonderful day. Congratulations to Annie and Douglas and thank you very much for your hospitality!

2009... here we goooooo!

· GOING STAG ·

My salsa partner couldn’t make our second class but I went anyway. Now I know a move that he does not!

For my second salsa class, I wore shorts and a tank and then topped that with a sheer dress. It still was too much clothing for the steamy studio.

Dress, O’Neill (thrifted). Sneakers, Rocket Dog. Earrings, flea market. Bag, A+ by Aldo (with an Amazon strap).

Leica M9 Digital Camera with 50mm Summilux ASPH Lens and Broncolor A2R Mobilite.

In the game Second Life, I play the avatar Juushika Redgrave.

A very laidback outfit for a very laidback day. The day before was super busy for me (yay for traffic at the club! nay for Juu overworking herself as a result >_<), so this was a take it easy outfit for a day spent doing nothing in particular. The jeans are a new purchase from Linx, a new-to-me store that was a nice find. They have a tilted waistband, which I absolutely love. The texture work on them is wonderful: realistically jean-like without feeling rough. They are a skinny-cut fit, and I left them unmodified--I don't wear skinny jeans often, but I like the look here. The tank if from TorridWear, and is one of the oldest and most-worn items in my inventory. It's a bit low-cut, but simple and incredibly comfortable. Looks great with almost any pair of pants. The tattoo is also a well-worn favorite, from LAME. It's probably my favorite star tat in game.

Clothes

Shirt: Easy Street-Tank (Black) by TorridWear

Pants: Straight 77 Stretch Jean by Lixz

Socks: Cashmere Socks Cool Black by LaynieWear

Shoes: Flare Oxfords - Black by Shiny Things

Skin: Mature Freckled Brood Glitz Nimbus by Sin Skins

Hair: Halftail - Red by 0 Style

Accessories

Tattoo: Full Star Body Tattoo by Lame

Glasses: Emily by Persenickety

Collar: Amethyst Collar (Slim) by Amethyst

Whiskers: Plenty Black Whiskers by Gritty Kitty

Neko Parts: Anisa's Neko Ears and Tail by Anisa @ OTCR (ears modded to include Industrial piercing by DEEKS)

When an alarm goes off, we turn to the command laptops (PCS) to gain insight. They interface with the highest-level station computers.

One of very few snapshots I ever took when I was in Teen Second Life (just before transferring to the main grid (December 2008)).

A snapshot I took of the entire Teen Grid (yes, the whole map). When people told me that the main grid was supposally huge compared to the tsl map, they weren't kidding. I didn't think they meant that it literally was that massive.
