2nd in the Mann Island Photo Competition. It was the presentation evening last night. The red wine was free and plentiful - which was nice.

A curiously constructed rectangle of the most tender and thick "filet" of skate came simply pan fried. It sits with a creamy eggplant-raisin puree. Atop the skate filet is a fat grilled king oyster and three "french fries" made of fried rice instead of potato. ($28)
Note: Like the other meats preparations at WD-50, the skate was very nicely finished - unbelievably tender - not dry and not fried to a crisp like so many are want to do. I was most impressed with the thickness of the skate filet - I've never seen the fish so thick before!
Unfortunately, the "french fried" fried rice tasted nothing of fried rice and the logs were deceptively mushy and slightly cold... yuck. The eggplant-raisin puree, after a small tasting, was left untouched - had the consistancy of facial cream and only hinted at eggplant or raisin...
The only other winner on the plate beside the skate was the king oyster mushroom, which was plumb, tender, juicy and very nicely grilled.

Fair Chang Expo Live music venue is a beautiful setting for live music, romance and dinner for two.
Phatland is one of favorites! Jazz and sophisticated lounge music always puts us in the mood for romance.
Phantom Rose Opera also has romantic places to chill for couples. Go over to the river and lake area for a private pavilion setting with dance pose ball.
Pillow Talk is a retail store high in the clouds, but it is a romantic setting for couples to shop. Try the poses out and it will definitely put you in the mood for love.
Avilion Ballroom is the natural choice for a ballroom dance. Valentine's last year featured heart balloons and romantic holiday setting.

A very laidback outfit for a very laidback day. The day before was super busy for me (yay for traffic at the club! nay for Juu overworking herself as a result >_<), so this was a take it easy outfit for a day spent doing nothing in particular. The jeans are a new purchase from Linx, a new-to-me store that was a nice find. They have a tilted waistband, which I absolutely love. The texture work on them is wonderful: realistically jean-like without feeling rough. They are a skinny-cut fit, and I left them unmodified--I don't wear skinny jeans often, but I like the look here. The tank if from TorridWear, and is one of the oldest and most-worn items in my inventory. It's a bit low-cut, but simple and incredibly comfortable. Looks great with almost any pair of pants. The tattoo is also a well-worn favorite, from LAME. It's probably my favorite star tat in game.
