Texture Change script for all three colours
For the second-last dinner ever on Amtrak's Pacific Parlour Car, I ordered the leg of lamb with mashed potatoes and green beans, plus an Arrogant Bastard ale. The lamb was just delicious- tender, rich, and fell right off the bone. This was only available in the Parlour Car, (as opposed to the regular dining car on the 'Starlight') and will definitely be missed.
Time exposure shows eight ticks per second on the sweeping second hand on my watch. 28,800 per hour...252,288,000 per year. hard to think of some mechanism acting 250M time a year on your wrist...

Here's the roll call: Kid #1 and his wife received their first dose of vaccine today. Kid #2 and his wife have an appointment for theirs. Kid #3 is presently sick at home, with covid. His wife, as a teacher, has been fully vaccinated for a while.
As for Janice, she received her second dose today. So far, no side effects. Steady as she goes!
This series of Volvo B10BLE pictures show second hand acquisitions.
In 2000/2001 First Aberdeen gained no fewer than sixty-eight second hand B10BLEs which were between one and four years old. Wright Renown bodied buses came from First Manchester (twenty-eight, 640 - 667) and First Glasgow (ten, 668 - 677), with the rest (thirty) being Alexander ALX300 bodied (801 - 830).
Featured elsewhere are pictures of most of the thirty-nine new Volvo B10BLE / Wright Renown received in 2000/2001 (601 – 639).
The influx of new and second hand Volvo buses (including six new Volvo B7LA / Wright Eclipse Fusion artics (2 -7) and six new Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400 double deckers (132 – 137)) and the consequential disposal of Leyland AN68, Mercedes Benz 0405, Scania L94UB and Dennis Dart types to other FirstGroup companies spanned a period just short of eighteen months.
In 2002 six Volvo B6-41 / Alexander Dash bodied buses came from Essex Buses Ltd (allocated fleet numbers 201 – 206).

this prize container served many....many years and many..many flushes ....the bowl itself was not the thing wrong it was the inner plumbing the correct pressures the correct water flow..... ..Sort a like Friendships...one wrong thing and all is gone down the drain........

it sat in my moms backyard and she placed it there in Flower garden to let the city know the land was hers and she would do with it what she pleased....when they first bought the land and house they were in the country then the city got greedy ...then the city people moving to the country brought all their city ways and did not want the smells and sights of the country they wanted rules and they wanted to change their neighbors... this sat inside a group of trees and water plants and could only be seen from the back doorway...
Working on the garden and the house, and there's beautiful weather too... that means there's not much time to spend behind my computer. So I went through my archives again and found this little cute Yellow Mongoose (Cynictis penicillata) who was still waiting to be uploaded sometime. Finally after 1,5 years of waiting, today his moment has arrived ;-)
