A tale of two helpers. One, along for the ride swiftly running downhill on it's train already mostly done it's duty. The other, notching at full throttle just beginning to push the weight of it's train up the mountain on the famed West Slope.
It is a wonderful cool morning, in the neighborhood of Believable Places. May is like this, flowers blooming with colors nothing short of magical and nights cooling with temperatures that tender an invitation to satiate Mr. Chimney's smoking fetish.
The view from the second story proving, yet again, to be one where dreaming and relaxing are as natural as waking and sleeping.
"Shall we have our coffee on the rooftop today?" She whispers.
He gently responds, "Of course, the birds are waiting."

New House Menu
Funny story, So I feed my cat at 6am every morning (when he wakes me up like clockwork, he tells time better than I do!, of course). I usually ask him if he is ready for breakfast...he definitley has come to know what "breakfast" means, which is followed by him leading me to the kitchen to unpack a package of wet food, (usually tuna or chicken), his favorites.
So about 10am after reading news, emails and playing some solitaire on the pc, I stand up and say to myself out loud, i'm going to go make me some breakfast (obviously an error in judgement, lesson learned). Well, someone's radar was actiovated and he heard the the magical word from wherever he was hiding and napping and came running like a bolt of lighting (GO Chargers!) thinking that his first breakfast was merely a dress rehearsal. He thought he deserves second breakfast! AND, he got it, of course. ROFL. How can you deny those sweet little eyes and mews that suggest he hasn't eaten in days tragically.... and him tugging at my gym shorts pulling them down as he climbs up and meows....and was most defintetly was laughing to himself. At this point, resistance is futile, you might as well grab the scoop before he decides to "sing" the song of his people at maximum volume waking up the whole apartment building. According to the official Statutes of Shadow, the first meal was just a "glitch in the Matrix," and Second Breakfast is the only true way to start the day right.
Later I recieved this email from an anonymous source of his intentions of eating pattern throughout the day. Dear server, from here on out our client will be expecting his meals served at Breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner and of course supper. It was only signed (from a concerned citizen) and..or else! Hmmm
He then proceeded to the bed and fell asleep inthis position. What a life! Hahaa
Not done one of these for a while. Here are some shots which didn't cut the mustard at the time but I feel are worth an airing.

After a wander around - low tide approached - Neaps was yesterday so the tide doesn't go out that far and ;eaves water in the basin - not as spectacular as a Spring tide and its higher diurnal

It had been a long ass week, that week. He had just stepped into the same barbershop he had been going to since he was a boy. Every other week he came here for a straight edge shave. He could almost already feel the invigorating warmth of the towel that was about to be placed on the lower half of his face, and smell the specially blended warm shave cream, that always hit his core as soon as he inhaled, practically infusing him with energy to tackle anything.
He nodded a greeting to his barber who was finishing with another gentleman, while he unbuttoned his suit jacket and walked over to the coat rack. He had just shrugged it off of his shoulders, when he froze and his gaze caught her in the mirror. She had just walked into the shop, and simply looked him in the eyes in that glass. She wore a slender, off the shoulder, knee-length black dress with black pointed stilettos that lightly clacked against the tile, each click like a bullet wounding the veneer of strength he wore through his stressful week.... God.... dammit, she was dressed to kill. Kill, or bring to life. Yeah... More like the latter. Definitely the latter.
He turned, looking right in her eyes once he was facing her just as she pivoted slowly away from him, beginning to teasingly make her way back to the door of the shop, still looking at him with that coy smirk.
Fucking A....
"On second thought, Sam," he spoke up, lifting his shoulders and shrugging his jacket back on, "I won't be needing that hot shave today." Buttoning his suit jacket back up and adjusting his cuffs and links, "I'll be back Monday. My wife has other plans for me."

The church of Saint George, of the Holy Monastery, is on the site of a very old church. The exact date when the original church was erected is not known However it is believed there was a Byzantine church which dates back to the late Byzantine period: from the Latin rule, which began in 1204, to the Fall of Constantinople, in 1453.
