I picked up these seashells at one of the beaches in Long Beach, Long Island. I decided to finally put them to use.

For April it is Rabbit. Whole body of the rabbit is cover with zebra nerites tiny seashells, nose is a fragment of Tellina rostrata sea shell, carrot with greens are tiny red and green nerites sea shells.

On some areas around the firth of Thames large banks of shells accumulate where pipi and other shell fish are abundant.

As the tide went out, the beaches were filled with an amazing array of seashells. I especially enjoyed the large, bleached white whelk shells. The National Park Service allows you to keep one quart of shells.

A creative little souvenir bought it NC made with seashells

I bought a macro lens and had some shells on hand I collected in the 90s from Panama City Beach, FL on the Gulf of Mexico.
