From the beach house collection. I have no idea just where in the world it came from, but it wasn't from the surf. Very delicate

This Blythe doll is Zoe And Her Pet Fish for “Summertime” on Facebook. The water and sky are scrapbooking papers; I cut a hole in the water so Zoe would look like she’s standing in it.

Seashells...
Come walk with me
Along the sea
Where dusk sits on the land,
And search with me
For shells are free,
And treasures hide in the sand.
A shell I photographed while at a beach resort in Panama... so, no need to take it home.

I photographed this seashell at a workshop I attended this morning.
Lighting stuff: I placed the shell on a piece of black perspex and lit it with two Yongnuo YN560 III strobes, one in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box at camera left, and the other in a 24 inch soft box at camera right. The strobes, in manual mode, were triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
I find sea shells to be beautiful objects from nature, and have photographed quite a few of them over the years. Other shells that I have photographed are in my creatively named Shells album. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157626043932290
