A lovely sunny Sunday afternoon sees a lot of people on Torre Abbey sands in Torquay, some even venturing into the water. According to the BBC2 programme "Coast", a scientific study was performed on sand from various beaches to which was the most ideal for making sandcastles. The sand on this beach turns out the best.
The wall of one of the concrete paddling pools which hold enough water to play about in when the tide goes out. Or to drown your adversery late at night. Oops. I have said too much.
