She is a young Chinese courtesan with bound feet, standing on a small dock with a silk sash containing one lotus blossom. Her lower legs are the only clothes she wears--- at one time in China it was thought indecent to show those naughty bits! Her silk sash is stiffened with gesso and painted, and is removeable from her hands.
This doll was made before the explosion of child porn issues hit the media ( 1998) . Now I'm apprehensive about showing a historically inspired figure that happens to be nude and very young. We'll see what everyone's interpretation is shortly.. ;-/
about 8"x7"x9". She is made of paperclay, cloth, human painted over hair, oil painted. Substructure is cardboard, celluclay, wire, metal tubing. Base is twine and wood.

Tokyo on the go wears a graffiti scribble dress by Octopus Army. Dress is made of cotton with scrunched details on the top followed by three bows on the knee. Belt has applied black glitter to all of the black leopard spots. Earrings are molars made of sculpy and octopus ring is also painted sculpy. :)
I was going to chop her hair off but I kinda like this dark blue curl hawk.
Vivian really suits this body - Iplehouse normal is pinker but Vivian's face-up from Angel Toast is beautifully blushed so I can't really tell the difference....
Her head does just "sit" on the top of the neck - her neck well has a lip at the back so I'd be inclined to create a neck adapter to ease the pressure on the lip - this should be easy enough to do with Sculpy or something similar.
The main problem is that Carina wants her body back! :)
for breakfast today we had bacon, eggs, sausage, and ham.
all procured from a winn-dixie dumpster.
(i didn't actually eat the sausage. too greasy.)
all day long the rainbow family counseled about the violence at front gate.
i had never been to a council before.
this one was absolutely silly.
nothing was achieved.
but i was entertained.
for dinner both kitchens made spaghetti.
so there was a LOT of spaghetti.
plus the krishnas were there so there was tons of food.
afterwards we went to camp feelgood.
and then to oz for pizza till you puke.
i only ate two slices.
then we went to bed.

I think I've finally got a Viper look I can live with. Been trying to find a helmet that works, and this one I custom made works well. Its made from a gumball machine football helmet with some paint and sculpy. I bought the goggles at WarToys.com, they were the closest to the square ones I could find. Head is from the VvV Cobra Commander. Everything else is from the Cobra Viper.
Here's an image I made from a wood carving, some sculpy, and a bit of manipulation in photoshop after scanning in the sculpy.
Another Spetsnaz operative in winter camo from Modern Warfare 2. Definately not my best, but it will do for now

The head is made from Sculpy, and painted by me. The shoulder blades are made from Han Solo hair pieces. This is the drummer from the Finnish band Lordi. I personally hate the band, but my brother paid me five bucks to make this.

Fett Week: Friday
I used the head that came with this Jango for another figure, so he needed a new noggin! This one was made completely from scratch using super sculpy, liquid rubber, a staple, and some happenin' paint!
On a velvet hat, a skull made of crunched up tinfoil with a Super Sculpy skin, and a bit of paint after.
Very much inspired by this photo.
This is a combination of wet felting and needle felting. The leaves and background are wet felted and the face is needle felted. I make my eyes out of Sculpy for a more realistic look.
