Did these for someone from my church! If your interested in commissioning something FM me!

I worked on this head in the room where my Father spent his last week of life. It was a sad yet comforting place to sculpt, spend our last hours together, and be with the wonderful caring staff who guided us through the death process with him. There was allot of art in the Hospice, and hopefully one day this will be on display there too.

A classmate of my kid requested a KISS doll. I was impressed that a 7 year old is a fellow fan of 70's buttrock. Horns, Travis!

Made with sculpy, acrylic paint.

The very first ever Digital Photography class under the graphic design associates degree at Full Sail. In Lab 07, we went to the green screen room and used their lights to photograph a product. The "product" was the three dimensional logos the students had sculpted with Sculpy and paint for their Logos & Symbols class, which they take alongside of Digital Photography. After the logo has been photographed from several different angles, the student sketches the lighting set up and saves an 800 x 600 version of the file. We discuss distracting shadows, soft boxes, lighting to show off an object's three dimensional qualities, and showing enough detail in shadows.

I think it's a sleepy newborn wombat with a strange leafy growth :)

These guys will be for sale first at Comic Con in SD, then through the scrapperstown thrift shop so stay posted...

One of the rune sets I have made for sale. Which ended up being a gift to CJRansom.

These are not made from a mold. The clay is hand mixed, layered, and then rolled thin. Each rune is cut out. And then I begin the laborious process of adding the actual sigil to the blank rune. The sigils are made from strings of clay that I extrude through a clay extruding gun.

Maxx, just add notes and let me know what goes to what. ;-]

The photo on the left is of the one I made out of sculpy then used to make a mold. When I popped it out it was all fogged because of the type of mold I used so I had to sand it the pour resin ontop. once that dried I used my super silvery mail polish on the back to make it extra shiny.

another wonderful birthday gift from my sweetheart (it's a customized tamo painted to resemble his likeness- he made the hat out of sculpy). yes, my ken is super awesome.

sculpy, nylon hair, and wire

This was the main project for my Manufacturing Processes II course. This final product is polished cast lead. He was sculpted in Firm Super Sculpy and was molded using Tin-Sil 70-60 Mold Rubber from Polytek. He is my first stab at working in any kind of metal.

This guy is my first experiment in the realm of action figure customizing. Base Torsos and Legs (from a couple random Star Wars figures I had lying around) sculpted over with Sculpy clay and the head is cast in Smooth-On plastic in an alginate mold from a Schleich Wolf I have; then sculpted over again with Sculpy to make stronger.

(Wings are from a GI Joe figure)

This is just my first experiment in using pre-fabricated parts to create my own creature.

my daughter decided she's had enough 2D work for today, so we moved into 3D; I made the "Easter Island head", and the kid commented on it, with figure in the foreground.

One package of sculpy and a small flat head screwdriver for making lines.

This is my first clay sculpture that I have done for a cake coming up in April. He is one of the 5 animals that I am sculpting for the cake. More to come!! ;)
