Trying out the epoxy clay on body construction. Boy, you better get it right the first time, or take a jackhammer to it later! :)

Fett Week: Saturday

Another of the custom Jango noggin' made from a sculpy mold and repainted.

My handmade art doll, Chander "Candles" Candlestick.

Candles has a cloth stuffed body and Sculpy head and hands. He is painted with acrylic paint and gloss. He is 100% designed and made by me.

I just finished this doll and I am trying to decide whether to list it on esty.com

It's sculpted out of super sculpy over a steel wire and aluminum foil armature which makes it both light and strong.

His arms and legs are jointed and he has a soft little heart he can hold in his hands.

He is wearing blue and white striped footy pjs and a little beanie.

sculpy octopus, fun to bake, took quite a bit of "structure" to put it together in the oven, don't ask about the suction cups (each hand rolled and placed, a bit OCD)

I haven'y done miniature weekly in a loooong time so I felt really bad. Now I need to do some re-ment pics for my re-ment group! *sigh* Maybe I shouldn't do any groups next year.

* I made these 1 centimeter tall guys from sculpey by hand. :)

The very first ever Digital Photography class under the graphic design associates degree at Full Sail. In Lab 07, we went to the green screen room and used their lights to photograph a product. The "product" was the three dimensional logos the students had sculpted with Sculpy and paint for their Logos & Symbols class, which they take alongside of Digital Photography. After the logo has been photographed from several different angles, the student sketches the lighting set up and saves an 800 x 600 version of the file. We discuss distracting shadows, soft boxes, lighting to show off an object's three dimensional qualities, and showing enough detail in shadows.

with her walking stick( hand-made) from a talented artist, who specialized in soft bears.I thought her sculpt work was wonderful..The basket of crochet is just as I found it (an estate sale) Thanks for looking!

I used brown acrylic eyes and glossed them with sculpy gloss. they really shine and look realistic, thats important to me that the eyes are right.

She currently has no home! More info in my profile.

Sun Dragons have marbles for eyes that catch the light and make the eyes appear to be glowing. They are made with polymer clay and the scale designs are made with a technique called Millefiori.

It is that time of year again! Don't just by sandals off the rack when you can customize your own pair! Show off at the beach with this traditional flip-flop style sandal builder kit. It contains everything you need to make a pair of stylish sandals. The sculpts included were created to work with the standard SL AV model without requiring any additional footwear or reshaping. An example set is included with the kit for your easy reference. The shadow maps included are ready to be tinted and customized to your hearts content.

Staff is glass, with glass 'magical ice spheres' attached to a silver chain. I still need to figure out a base (I'm thinking white sculpy) to help it stand

For a while, I'd considered this to be my least favorite of the original 13 Aurora monster kits. I mean, look at the dopey, surprised look on Kong's face. There were leaves missing (which I ended up replacing by making a mold of one of the remaining sets of leaves and popping out some Super Sculpy replicas). The parts of Kong's body fit together poorly. Ann Darrow's face is... not good. But, eventually, it grew on me (and was replaced by Jekyll as Hyde, given just how plain that kit was.)

unfinished custom dunnys and aliens from my upcoming weird life series.

Marianne McCaan's "A History of Prims" exhibit at the SL9B. Visiting with Treminari Huet, she noticed the first cube's creation date, in 2002!

Cube, 2002: On January 25th, 2002 (If you inspect this cube, you'll see that date), an unknown Linden rezzed this cube. It is the oldest known prim in Second Life.Torus: As second Life grew, so did the options. The Torus is one of the most complex of the basic prims, with 1024 Vertices. Another prim type, the Spiral, was removed early in Second Life's history.

[12:04] Flexi Cylinder: Flexible prims, aka "flexiprims" were introduced to Second Life in 2006. The hair industry was never the same again.

[12:04] Sculpted Apple: A sculpted prim, or "Sculpy," is a prim whose shape is formed form is taken from a sculpty texture. They were introduced to Second Life by Qarl Linden in 2007.

[12:04] Glowing Sphere: While not a prim function itself, the "glow" property became a common function for prims starting in 2007.

[12:04] Mesh Duck 2012: After many fits and starts, mesh objects were added to the grid in 2011. While they remain controversial in some circles, many have learned to love the mesh.

39 pink, purple, and white polymer clay beads. These beads were crafted from a cane I made. I attached them to business cards for a fellow friend to give out at a craft fair & I had some left over. Each bead has a hole large enough to fit a needle or piece of string through.

Sunday. I slept on the couch last night. I tend to have amazing dreams when I sleep on the couch, and I did, I had the most wonderful dream. All my dreams tend to be dark, in color and lighting, not in subject matter. There's always a lot of dark reds, and it's almost as if the lights are out everywhere, everything is so dimly lit. So I was at a college type dorm apartment, with friends, friends that I do not know in real life, just dream friends. And one guy, this humble dark haired soft guy, the way I experienced him, percieved him in the dream he was pliable, maliable like play-doh, more like super sculpy. Anyways, I grabbed him by the hand and brought him up a series of stair, narrow staircases and hallways, all red and brown and black, soft dark lighting. We stopped in a room and nothing happened but I love how in dreams you don't have to be touching a person to feel them, just feel their entire being on you in you, like a hug, only less tangible. And then I slightly woke up, and I tried to get back to my dream, get back to that feeling but the guy kept showing up in bust shot and the only phrase I can describe what the perception of him was Med Student. It was weird. But then I really woke up and I was depressed because I can only get those feelings in dreams, I can only have those people in dreams, even if I did have someone, it's different in real life, everything is tangible, touchable, there is perception everywhere. The feeling of dreams is like being tired and drowsy and happy at the same time, things are just different and I wish i could have that all the time.

Lightweight sculpy earrings of the tardis and a dalek!

the wood doweling proved to be strong bones and great sturdy structure, but created thick ankles as noticed at the NIADA Critique. ( last time I'll ever use dowels!)

My husband bought me this tiny guardian to watch over the flowers I painted in my shadow box. She does a very fine job and I'm wondering if she can give advice to those who are caring for my blooms outside. Hmmmm.

... make lemonade with this kickass lemon necklace!

I sat there for a while with a pin creating all little pores on it, and am pretty proud of how it turned out! It's a short necklace that sits just between your clavicles. Looks sweet as when you wear it. I need to take a photo of it on, just to show you guys. :)

unfinished custom sculpture of an alien thingy

It's impossible to write this ones name, for there is no translation for it, but it's pronounced like this "sprek - nock - tres - a - lee", kinda, but with some clicks and whistles in between sylables... ;) But "sprek..." prefers to be called 'Spock', he likes that name =)
