Made this from scratch for a man who was going to give this to his friend for his 40th birthday. It took me 3 evenings to make:-S It's a lousy picture but the only one I have of it, sorry about that:-(
This photo shows a man who is writing spring festival scrolls. Actually, it’s an activity held for exchange students in HKU. For many students from mainland stayed in Hong Kong when the Spring Festival came, the China Affair Office gathered them together and gave a wonderful evening. In this way, the students from mainland wouldn’t feel lonely in this family reunion festival.

ASKANIA Präsentation Jahrgangsuhr ‚Quadriga‘
Bristol Hotel Kempinski Berlin - 28. August 2014

ASKANIA presentation vintage watch 'Quadriga'
Bristol Hotel Kempinski Berlin - August 28, 2014
Winfried Glatzeder (actor) and Leonhard R. Müller (CEO of Askania AG)
The now legendary 'Time & Wine' event organised by Berlin-based Askania AG, which took place for the 10th time this year, once again attracted many Berlin celebrities, fans and friends of the Berlin watchmaker to Berlins Kempinski Hotel Bristol on Ku’damm. The production of a good wine has a lot to do with the production of a beautiful watch: It takes time and patience, was the motto of the evening for the presentation of the Quadriga 2014. Askania AG CEO Leonhard R. Müller emphasised that the "Quadriga 2014" is not only something special aesthetically, as the handmade Duograph (limited to 143 pieces), the current capital city watch, is reliably up to date.
The Quadriga vintage watch is Ascanias exclusive homage to Berlin's landmark, the Brandenburg Gate. As part of this series, a strictly limited special model with a special technical feature is created every year. The size of the series corresponds exactly to the number of years since the manufactory was first founded in Berlin in 1871. At that time, the inventor Carl Bamberg, son of a watchmaker and protégé of Carl Zeiss, founded the company in Berlin, which was successful with precision instruments for the navy, observatories, research and expeditions - such as theodolites, compasses, ship's clocks and pilot's watches.Film cameras were added later.Wim Wenders filmed with Askania cameras until the 1970s.
The wine: This time from Styria in Austria. Koarl Thaller had come with his excellent wines. The Thaller family's wine castle is nestled among vineyards on a range of hills not far from Fürstenfeld, in the centre of Eastern Styria's Thermenland. Whether white or red, the Styrian winegrower's wines were an excellent accompaniment and contributed significantly to the success of the evening.
The future: The Askania boss was visibly proud to report on a future project in which the watch manufacturer will be a key premium partner. The 1st Potsdam International Film Festival will celebrate its premiere on 7 October. It is to be a forum and not a second Berlinale, emphasised Benjamin Glückskind, who is in charge of the film festival in Potsdam.
The auction of the painting "Quadriga" by painter Michael Dyne Mieth, which was painted live on site, raised € 2,500, € 1,000 of which went to the Berlin Aids charity.
Live music from the harpist (Hauptstadt-Harfe) Simonetta Ginelli and the bassist of the bassist of the German-Japanese band "Osca" Shota Higashikawa.
