the screen project is a lighting instalation for a site specific (gallery), an elastic wire operating like a screen for the projection of three chromatic fields (RGB) and generating an actual network of colored shadows over the walls of the gallery. the calibration of this three chromatic fields, in aditive mixture, are operated by spectator, becoming an active spectrator who can decide the aspect of the work and take moreover a color bath into the montage.
screen is a reflexion over the thinking of art becoming both projection and obstruction of mind.

el proyecto screen es una instalación luminosa para el lugar especÃfico de la galerÃa, una trama de cables elásticos que operan como una pantalla para la proyección de tres campos cromáticos (RGB) que genera una trama de sombras coloreadas sobre el muro de la sala. la calibración de estos tres campos cromáticos es operada por el espectador, quien decide el aspecto de la obra manipulando los dimmer transformandose en un espectrador activo que puede introducirse en el montaje tomándo un baño de color.

Rain in Saskatchewan today. This is a screen surrounding a gazebo at my parents horse ranch. The background image is being refracted, but because the water is not spherical, it is not inverting the image. Low light, but the effect is interesting. I'll be looking for this again on a brighter day. The image behind is of the valley behind my parents house.
All Saints at Grendon is one of North Warwickshire's most rewarding churches, though relatively little known as it is normally locked outside of services.
The medieval building has been much altered and restored, with an 1840s west tower (which looks earlier) and a whitewashed interior with plastered ceilings that give it a late Georgian character. The real interest here is the fascinating collection of furnishings and memorials, including some stunning early 17th century woodwork originally from St Mary's in Stafford.
All Saints will richly reward a visit, though a pre-arranged appointment will most likely be necessary to view the interior.
Smoke Screen Dania can wear absolutely anything. I thought her extremely dark make up would make her very limited but she is one of the most versatile dolls I've ever had.
One of the most striking of the 'grand projects' of former President Mitterand was the Institute of the Arab World, a cultural centre for encouraging links with Islamic cultures and representing a significant component of Paris's population who trace their descent to the Mahgreb, particularly Algeria.
The building is a masterpiece of modern architecture designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 1988. It's most striking and ingenious feature is the fantastic 'sunscreen' on the south facade, designed as a modern interpretation on an Islamic style patterned trellis screen, whose apertures cleverly open and close to reduce or iincrease the admission of light into the building. Each panel has the same complex mechanism for doing this, and can be viewed from close quarters within.

Got this pic printed and framed.
It went into an existing frame so I have to get a new matte for it but otherwise I think it's looking good. I may need to lighten the left hand side a bit for future prints.

Another shot from my last session. To be honest, I didn't like the photos from this set when I first saw them. Problems with the lights... problems with my lenses. Nothing in focus, everything under-exposed. But the sisters kept bugging me to send them something. So I added some textures desaturated a few shots... and a few turned out much better than I expected. Unfortunately, the sisters didn't like the way these looked at all. "Too dark, and gloomy " .

It is almost a year since I ordered my Caterham 7 but I now have a definite delivery date of May 8! To satisfy my inpatience and longing I have this and seven other photos as our screen saver.

Cathay Pacific has very cool in-flight entertainment. Before liftoff, we were treated to this nifty progress screen; after we reached cruising altitude, we could also play games, watch a huge selection of movies or TV shows, and listen to "radio" or another giant selection of CDs (from which we could make our own playlists). This all came in very handy when I found myself unable to sleep on the 14-hour flight.
The 12 apostles, an unidentified female saint and a bishop are lined up in this rood screen ( c 1500) originally dedicated to John de Norton and his wife, Margaret. All the faces have been scratched out and the paintwork is in poor condition, various attempts at restoration with unsuitable materials having done some damage to add to the deliberate defacement of the iconoclasts.
