I could scarcely see anything with the crazy winds whipping my hair into my eyes and nothing to pull it back, but at least the sun was kind enough to break through and the fisherman on the bridge were kind enough to let me plod through their paths of fishing poles.

For the daily challenge......."grey/gray."
It is grey and foggy here today. I got up early to go for a walk while it was quiet and the city was not fully awake yet. Halifax has a lovely Victorian park right in the heart of the city, which unfortunately is closed for the winter months. I shot this through the fence. That bench just looked so empy and forlorn waiting for Spring when someone will come and share a little bit of their lives with it under the shade of the tree.
I wanted to try to keep the image grey and forlorn looking.
I hope you enjoy.

While you are sleeping without any care,
Cows play peekaboo in morning spring air
I should confess that this cow doesn't belong here. I put him in with the Juxtaposer iPhone app. That cow lives on a tiny farm near my house in Redmond and the tulips here are in La Conner (roughly a two hour drive away) at the tulip festival. I hope knowing this doesn't ruin the image for some of you. For those who are disappointed will you be impressed to know that I was only half cross-eyed by the time I finished removing all the scenery surrounding the cow? No? My gosh, what's it gonna take, people? ;-)
