This is the time of year that the leaves are a dead jumble on the ground, fading away to fine skeletons.
Their shapes are still so lovely and I thought they would make a nice composition neatly lined up on my hardwood floor for contrast. I desaturated the majority of the colors to emphasize the idea of their demise into faded beauty.

The guy out front looks like he has one leg, which tempted me to title this "One Legged Beachcomber." But it's just an illusion as one leg is in front of the other. Anyway, it was a beautiful day on the coast yesterday, bright and sunny, with the fog hugging the water's edge.
