Day One of "Scratch Camp" during spring break in the Jocelyn H. Lee Innovation Lab. Today's challenge was to program a 'pong' game using Scratch and then design and build a novel controller using Makey Makeys and the usual assortment of foil, cardboard, etc. Achievement unlocked!

Two ex-cons, secretly working for an incinerator plant, their boss Mr. Rutt, is paying them to dump toxic waste in the middle of the night. The evil Mr. Rutt doesn’t think twice about kicking a cat into the toxic waste vat when it accidentally trips him, mutating into "Hallocat" and Later know as "Scratch".

You'd be surprised how often hummingbirds scratch themselve's when perched. I put a feeder near a good spot for photos, and then go out in the evening and hang out nearby. They get fairly tame after a bit, and a few that come around regularly will allow a glimpse into their more personal side.
Thought I'd try something a little different. I thought it looked a bit spooky through the key hole, it might just be me but the shadow on the wall looks a bit like a shadowed eye.
Did you ever lay a heavy coat of various colors of crayon down on a paper, then cover the whole thing with the thickest layer of black you could ? .. then scratch your drawing out of the blackness, like scratchboard? When you were finished, you could pass the back of the paper over a candle flame and slightly melt the crayon. That’s what this reminds me of.
luckily for me, this is not a lifedrawing. just a doodle with a Bic, used digital color for background.
a scratch appeared on my aluminium powerbook and it wasn't my fault.
