I just recently remembered this picture of Scratch. I think it captures his personality really well.
a scratch appeared on my aluminium powerbook and it wasn't my fault.
i got it off my chest elsewhere on flickr.
any suggestions as to warranty cover?
Cup made to commemorate the coronation of King William IV and Queen Adelaide in 1831.
Two medallions are attached, both are curved. One bears the likeness of King William IV in profile, marked 'WILLIAM THE FOURTH CROWNED SEP. 8 1831'. The other bears a likeness of Queen Adelaide (pictured), marked 'ADELAIDE. QUEEN CONSORT. CROWNED SEP. 8 1831'. Both images are of a Greco-Roman nature and are heads and necks only. Both medallions have beadwork on the rim and are surmounted by a crown. They appear on opposite sides of the cup. In between them on one side there is an engraving of the royal coat of arms. In between them on the other side is the patent silver mark. The base has the numbers '79551' scratched into it.

Two weeks ago, I started on a ride to visit 5 war memorials for the Tour of Honor. Unfortunately, 200 miles into the trip, my rear tire blew while I was doing 75mph. Using the amazing skill for which I am justifiably famous :p I got to the shoulder and almost stopped.
Almost.
Roxie went down and so did I. The worst damage was to the passing lamps. The one to photo right was bent up, but I fixed it with a come-a-long and adjustable wrench. :) The remaining problem is that the lamp lens is scratched and diffusing light.
Meanwhile, check out how damn bright they are.

It was the first time I'd used Marcus' Nikonos-V, and i completely failed to load the film correctly, at first. Luckily I realised pretty early on...
It's the first time I've used Marcus' (beautiful, wonderful) underwater camera, and I completely failed to load it correctly... but at least I worked it out before I shot too much of the roll!
This was from the other day at work, I usually do the cleaning first thing in the morning while someone else takes the dogs out to be exercised. But on this day, it was the other way around. I swear no one trains their dogs anymore. It's quite frustrating, and sad for the dog really. Quite a lot of the dogs are bigger than me aswell. I'm 5'2 and about 48 kgs (105 lbs), and the dog that flipped out on me would have been atleast 130 lbs! Fat, spoilt, crazy Labrador!! -.- That day I also got splinters in my hand from a broom, smashed my head into a gate, tripped over several times, ended up with bruises on my sides and my back from knocking myself on the kennel door latches, and 2 dogs got out on me (escaped from their kennels) which never happens! I'm usually really careful! The mutts really did get the better of me. It was just one of those days when you say to yourself, "I should have just stayed in bed".
On a better note, today at work I received no scratches or injuries, and there was a massive Great Dane :D
His name is Roger and he is the biggest wuss ever >_<
We saw one sloth in Costa Rica. It was high in a tree and doing what sloths do best, sleeping. It woke up long enough to scratch itself while we watched, then went right back to sleep. I had to do a major crop just to get it to fill this much of the frame.

Scratch
This damage on the car was caused by a vandal who scratched the side of the rear door and carved out a swear world, i did not take a photo of that incase it caused offence. The customer lived in Harlow and contacted www.carbodyrepairs4less.co.uk for an estimate via email.
