The tower Perigueux Cathedral, a 12th century construction restored by Paul Abadie in the 19th century, in France's Perigord region.
My apologies for the fortnight's near absence: I went off to France and it turned out that there was no WiFi in my own situation; the good news is that I've brought back a substantial amount of photo's from some lovely locations.
Used for leveling ground before planting. Rusting farm equipment, Traver Ranch, Carizo Plain. DSC_4486
Office tower built in 1966 and designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed the NY World Trade Center.
This building was designed, built and photographed by Dennis Anderson.
Here is a building Dennis built from the ground up with his own design and a little help from his wife Yali. This is an exceptionally risky building to build with pre-sticky bricks as Dennis has. One wrong move and a huge chunk of building can go toppling to the floor. Raymond found that out as you can see here.
The 12th of January
Went to Sydney today with Glen and Punk. We went to the Aquarium and wondered around for a while and saw the sharks and dugong and then we had to walk to the Gateway. At practically the other end of the city! The whole point of going down was because I had to go there to put me biometrics in for my visa application! But it was still a pain to walk all that way in the heat! It took 5 mins to do that and then we walked all the way back again and went to the wildlife world next door to the aquarium! That was really cool to though! I like the butterfly enclosure where the butterflies would come land on you! Very steamy in that enclosure though! The boys slept the whole way home on the train!
FIRST CONSTRUCTION RELATED MODEL I EVER MADE. This Miskin scraper was my first try at making construction equipment. This was built about three years ago . It is now in Travis Mclendon's toy collection in Hawkinsville, Ga. It is the only Miskin model I have built .

It is a boot scraper... always located by the doors, for scraping the mud off boots and shoes before entering the home.
Many large transport outfits in Canada use these ice scrapers to scrape ice and snow off the top of their trailers before leaving the yard.
Another Pentax 6x7 shot on Kodak 160 NC film. I think this was the 55mm f/4 lens.
This is the 1999 Broadway building.
I guess they're called boot scrapers these days. But there are still horses on the streets of old town, Philadelphia.

This 27 story sky-scraper comes very close to being as tall as the 32 story sky-scraper Raymond egged me on to build. My sky-scraper was built with bricks that stick together a bit, so I had less chance of knocking it over, although I still had to be careful. Dennis was going to call this his "Ultimate Sky-Scraper", but as he was building he decided that he could go even higher next time, so let's see if he can out-do me!
