My girls are very enthusiastic art and crafters, so their scissors get used on a regular basis. I've always had scissors available for them to use, though I momentarily regretted that when Kayleigh was 3 and decided to give herself a bit of a hair cut. Thankfully no scissors mishaps since then.

I finally bought another pair of Fiscars the other day,

after my final pair in the house would only cut about an inch at a time!

the microspatula is for area missing glue. You can replace it with a stick like toothpick.

The beeswax is to cover thread for sewing.

For my mom's birthday I made her an embroidered felt case for a little pair of scissors (which sadly are not here yet.). I started with the center design and then doodled my way around it.
