We found this rock while on vacation in Anacortes, WA. One of the locals told us it was a community event. Lots of rocks were painted and then hidden all over the city to get people outdoors and to promote kindness. Sorry this is getting posted so late. I had a very difficult time posting it as Flickr kept saying it wasn't a valid photo. Not sure why. I had to email to my iPad then upload it. The rock is approximately 2". Happy Macro Monday!!

the Highland cow - They have an unusual double coat of hair. On the outside is the oily outer hair - the longest of any cattle breed - covering a downy undercoat. This makes them well suited to conditions in the Highlands, which have a high annual rainfall and sometimes very strong winds.
I bought them at the V&A in London, and lost them. I found them two years later stuck under my driver's seat.
Many thanks to Carl Street whose image of string and scissors was the original inspiration for this. I have a print of his image framed on my wall, loved it so much I really wanted to do my version of it...thanks Carl!
Appropriately named by others who have shot this scene as "The Scissors" for obvious reasons :)
It was shot from the Odakyu Department Store at Shinjuku Station.
